IUI/IVF timings — Lean PCOS infertility
Hi everyone, I have “Lean PCOS” (I assume it’s “Lean” as I have none of the other physical symptoms of excess hair/weight gain) and as a result only have a period maybe once a year, if I am lucky. I had an ultrasound about 2/3 years ago confirming it which counted a large number of ‘cysts’ on each ovary

Cerelle pill stopping periods - do you still get symptoms?
Hello! I'm honestly learning so much more in this community than anything my doctors or gynae has ever told me, which is a mix of emotions being both thankful but also frustrated at the doctor's 😅 I have been on the Cerelle pill since around January/February this year and haven't had a period since

Change of pill ?
Hi all. New here! I had appendix removed 2 years ago - was stuck down to walks etc and found to be endometriosis. 2 years on I’ve recently changed from combined pill to progesterone only and have under right rib pain and upper back pain. Both seem to fit with endometriosis on diaphragm. Just wondered

Am I being fobbed off?
Hi all, I only got diagnosed with endo last year (no laparoscopy - based on family history and symptoms). My gynae has prescribed me Cerelle. I’ve been on it since December, and she said it would stop my periods (though I told her I’d been on it before and it didn’t). She’s told me that if we can use

Covid Vaccination and TTC
So, been keeping an eye on the techincal lab documents for all three vaccinations available (and pending) in the UK, and they all advise if you're pregnant, could be pregnant or trying to conceive you should not have the vaccination. It also states that if you've had your first vaccination and think

Advice on the best contraception to help endo symptoms??
I would like recommendations or personal experiences with contraception to help improve endo symptoms.... my dr has recommended sterilisation but this isn’t going to help as I would still be having periods, I have been on the combined pill and these have worked well for me but now that I’m 40 my gp

Anyone Else Struggling with Immense Depression and Anxiety When Trying to Conceive?
It's been quite some time since I've been active on this website, since for a while there, I was doing really, really well. I felt so proud of myself, like this time I was really over the hump. But at the end of last year, my husband and I started trying for our first child, and it's been a lot of intense

Feeling a little failed
Hi guys. I had a telephone appointment with my Doctor on Thursday. She said she can't refer me to a specialist due to only trying 1 form of contraception (I have tried a numerous amount of pills). She has told me I have to have the coil fitted and see how I get on for 6 months and then maybe she will

Potential endo keep being made to feel like I am wasting doctors time.
I don't know what else to do. I was put on the pill like every other teenager for bad periods. I would pass out be sick, and the pain used to be really bad. I used to have to go for anti inflammatory injections. Anyways I was eventually put on Cerazette not just one but 2 tablets a day. My periods stopped

Can I start taking the pill before my period?
So I take a combined pill, 21 days on 7 off, it’s called Levest. I’ve never taken contraception pills before. Can I start it before I start my period? I read that you didn’t have to start it during your period you just have to give it a bit longer to take effect, is this true?

Do I have to go on the pill?
Hi all! I’ve been moving around a lot and so have had lots of different gps. I’ve finally settled somewhere and my new gp has referred me for a gynae appointment and hopefully a laparoscopy to finally confirm endo. But she wants to put me back on the pill again to help with my symptoms I was on the

Managing bad skin?!
Hi! I’m new, nice to be here. I’m 32 and was diagnosed with PCOS 5 years ago. Since then I have had two beautiful babies, both via IVF. My youngest is now 13 months and we’re just coming to the end of breastfeeding. I’m starting to get some PCOS symptoms again, mostly ovarian/pelvic pain and bad skin

Does the pill work for you? My body hates it!
My body outright rejects it, it will work for a week or so, then know it’s fake? Break through bleeding starts. I have never been pregnant (only saying this as worried if my body tries to bleed then too), but at the moment been bleeding since January. Tried Rigevidon and Provera - neither is liked but

PCOS advice? I am lost
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16, I’m now 25, and I just feel like I wasn’t really given any advice on it at all. I had initially went to the doctors as I had really bad acne and excess body hair, I was referred to a gynaecologist and diagnosed with PCOS. I was put on the pill to try and help

Is this endometriosis or something else?
Hi everyone, It's my first time posting here as I've just started the process of being diagnosed with endometriosis. FYI I have had IBS for 6 years. I came off birth control in October and my first period off the pill I had very light bleeding for a few days before my actual period began. I guess it

Endo and orgasms
Hi all, First time writing here but do not know where else to go. I have been seen my different docs that have all suspected that I have endo. I eventually got referred to a gyno who was apprehensive to give me the possibility of a laparoscopy so I’m currently tricycling the pill. I haven’t seen any
