Hi, you must be one of gods favourites with endo and no pain 😂 lol.
When I came off rigevdon pill, my period returned back to normal within a few days however this isn’t the case for everyone and some people may get spotting. So yes I would say it’s completely normal
A normal period follows ovulation where the egg has not been fertilised and has not implanted. When on the pill the body does not ovulate and hence the bleeding on the week off the pill is classed as a breakthrough bleed. They are both menstruation, thats why doctors call it that for ease.
Spotting is any light bleeding around ovulation and just before your menstruation. Spotting is normal.
If you have stopped any pills long term then your normal cycles will resume, this can take a few months, so your cycles may be a bit odd (longer or shorter), no ovulation, light bleeding heavier bleeding, more bleeding days, etc. With each ovulation (if no fertilisation) then a period will result, these are true periods.
