Hi all, Please see below in quote marks my first post on this forum which I posted 6 months ago distraughtly after suddenly being diagnosed with PCOS for context of what my original symptoms were. Awful abdo pain 4 weeks after lap
Hi all I’ve woken up today with the worst abdominal pain, it is bringing me to tears how painful it is. I had my lap 4 weeks ago and they found endo around my rectum and uterosacral ligaments. I was suffering with right sided abdo pain prior to my surgery which subsided until today and I don’t know what

The Pill and Painful Sex
Hi everyone, hope you’re all well, just looking to see if anyone can relate to what I’m going through at the moment. I’m 18, when I was younger I had crippling period pain - it left me unable to carry on day to day life even with pain medication. At 15 I was prescribed the combined contraceptive pill

Zoladex and contraception
Zoladex and contraception? I was given Zoladex after a lengthy surgery to remove endometriosis. I was also led to believe it was a contraceptive! What is the best contraceptive to use alongside this treatment?

First period after covid jab
Hi everyone, I had my second covid jab (Pfizer) two weeks ago. I had a pretty bad reaction and was ill for four days. All fine now though. I’m currently on my period and it’s extremely heavy with bad clotting. Luckily the pain hasn’t been much worse than my usual. However, the most unusual thing is that

Early Mirena removal advice?
I’m 23 - never had a regular cycle, typically three to four periods a year at completely random times. I had a mirena IUD put in four years ago (age 19) after being talked into it by my GP at the time which stopped my periods altogether. I’d like to have it removed largely because I’m curious as to how

How to tell my doctor I actually feel better without Levothyroxine?
Hi everyone, I’m back after being away for a while from any type of deterrent…the more I read about hypothyroidism, the more I was getting consumed. Lot’s of amazing advice did not work for me, and I did not want to use these pages as my daily diary. One thing I did is to ask for an increase in the Levo

Has anyone tried having both the IUD and pill at the same time? What was your experience?
Hi all, I hope you’re doing well 🤍 My surgeon recently has recommended taking the pill on top of the IUD to try manage the endo/adeno pain that is coming back two fold. I’ve had the IUD for two years now and it worked initially for a short period of time but now it’s making my period last for up to

Recommend the pill for hair loss?
Would anyone recommend going on the pill for PCOS? I’ve lost more than half of my hair in the last 2 months and i also have excessive hair too. My gp isn’t sure why I’ve lost soo much hair but they’ve ruled out Pcos. I also have a scalp condition that I’ve had for over 6 years and my hairs never fallen

Burning sensation
Hi ladies, During my period, when i urinate I get a terrible burning sensation across my lower stomach. The duration can last for either minutes or hours. I'm so scared to go to the toilet. Does this happen to anyone else? I suffer with endometriosis and server period pains but this is a new pain.

How do they kickstart periods? If not overweight and can't take 'the pill'
Hi all, I plan to speak to my GP about this soon but was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I'm mid 30s and have PCOS and endometriosis. My cycle is very irregular. I was always told I need 4 periods a year to stay healthy and avoid the risk of developing cancer. Most of my life I've
