Recommend the pill for hair loss?

Would anyone recommend going on the pill for PCOS? I’ve lost more than half of my hair in the last 2 months and i also have excessive hair too.

My gp isn’t sure why I’ve lost soo much hair but they’ve ruled out Pcos. I also have a scalp condition that I’ve had for over 6 years and my hairs never fallen out before. They said it’s either that or the fact I had covid not long ago, and it can be due to that. They’ve now sent me for blood tests, but I think they’re wrong, I believe it’s the Pcos.

They said that They might put me on the pill if I want after the results come back, I was Previously trying to avoid it as a form of contraception, due to the hormones. However if anyone else found it helped their hair from falling out, I’ll give it a try.

Thanks guyss!
