Induced menopause
Hello, I am going into induced menopause after having a laparoscopy, IUD,
contraceptive
implant
and taking progesterone tablets for a year. Could anyone tell me their experience. What should I expect? I am 24 years old so am nervous about ruining my chances of pregnancy. Thanks

Can anyone help?
Hi all, I have a question about endometriosis and thought this would be the best forum to ask in. I've been off the pill for roughly 3 years now and not long after that my symptoms started. I have a lot of brown spotting before period and also during period (it's never a straight 5 days of a proper flow

IBS symptoms from the pill?
Has anyone had any IBS like symptoms whilst on the combined pill? I have been getting some really bad stomach cramps affecting my ribs and back and I am thinking it could be down to the pill. The last time I had similar symptoms was about 8 years ago when I was on the combined pill and I stopped having

Laproscopy done Yesterday
Hello I had the news I don't have endo which is what was expected. I'm rather upset as I was hoping to get a diagnosis of something! I just really want answers. I was booked in under a cancellation and from a Google I don't think the lead surgeon specialised in endometriosis but the hosptial is recognised

Hello I recently had the news I don't have endo which is what was expected. I'm rather upset as I was hoping to get a diagnosis of something! I just really want answers. Bit of background- I'm 26 and been pretty much signed off since February. The pains have been bad since last summer but have been present

What happens after menopause?
Has anyone on here, gone through their entire adult life with Endometriosis, treated it with various treatments, surgery, combined pill, gone through a natural menopause and then bam ‘just been cured!’ The reason I ask is because that’s how every single bit of information you read online states! New here! Any advice on my teenage daughter's blood test results please?
Is there anyone who could read these results for my teenage daughter ? She's 15 (just). Very heavy periods since 11 years old, suffered for years until they started lasting 3 months non stop. Now on the pill which helps to regulate them (but I'm not overjoyed at) Lately she has started having severe

I have had “bad periods” since I started them at 10, at 12 I was given the pill to try and help. I have been on and off contraception since then. I have been with my OH for 4 years been trying for 2 years to have a baby. No luck, been told I likely have endo finally getting an mri. Been told I need to

Spotting when due to start ivf
Hi, As the title says really - typical of my body to not do as it’s told! I’ve started spotting even though I take the pill back to back as I have endometriosis. I’m due to start injections at the start of June but I’ve just started spotting/getting cramps. My body does it every few months as if it

Gynaecologist referred me to the gastroenterologist
I've been suffering with bad pelvic pains for about 3 years now, always had heavy painful periods as a teen but only really investigating it now as it keeps me up at night and is literally excruciating. I am 22 now. I was bounced around GPs for about 2 years and finally decided to see a private specialist

Can a 3 year old MIRENA coil cause thrush symptoms.
Hi all this is my first post. I’ve had the mirena coil for the last 3 and a half years. I got this after being diagnosed with PCOS at an early age and not having much luck with the pill. I am undergoing a huge period of consistent pain and now I’m in the process of going in for surgery to see if

Thyroid swelling
About 2.5 years ago I noticed my neck looked a bit swollen and I feel like it’s got steadily more pronounced. Blood tests (FBC and U&Es and free T3, free T4 and TSH) are normal and my ultrasound was normal and the GP couldn’t feel anything when he felt my neck. I’m 31, a midwife doing shift work and

Change in cycle protocol any advise?
Good morning ladies! I hope everyone is well. So I thought I was starting my next IVF cycle on long protocol next month. Given this will be my 6th cycle I really want to give it my best shot. I do have a few embroys in the freezer but due to my age my consultant suggested I harvest more embroys whilst

I am also taking Escitalopram (at the same time) and on the Nexplanon (

). Although I was diagnosed a year ago, I don't fully understand how to read the results.

Is it ok to take the STD test while I’m on my combination contraceptive pills? how about if i’m on my withdrawal period, is it still ok?

Help/advice about periods please!
I'm messaging here because I've been dismissed by male doctors before and I'm not sure whether to make an appointment or not. I've basically always had irregular periods but they've been getting worse and worse - heavier and more painful and I can never predict when I'll get it. Cycle length varies
