Hiah

Today I had the long waited laprscopy. Whilst in surgery they removed tissue from my womb, ovaries, rectum and up to my kidney stating it was stage 3 endo with previous scar tissue.

I am to have my last decapeptyl injection on the 11th Jan following 4 weeks of HRT.

Afterwards there's not much else, I know that it can grow back fir some time like 2 years as like my previous op.

I've tried the pill, marina coyle nothing worked apart from the injection keeping it dormant.

Is there any suggestions regarding health choices etc? I really want to have children also...

Hi D2594 I hope you are recovering well. You should have a follow up appointment with your consultant and you can discuss next steps/options available to you then.

In the meantime we have a great Webinar from a few months ago - Getting the most out of your Gynaecology Appointments with Joanne Hanley - Endometriosis UK's Specialist Advisor and Advanced Clinical Practitioner at the Northwest Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis Centre.

Below is a link for you, that may give you some ideas as to the questions you want to ask in that consultation:

Stay strong.

with stage 3 endo you must be treated at bsge specialist centre and you would then have a follow up at 3 and 6 months at least. If you’re not at a bsge centre ask gp to refer you on.
