Periods after surgery
Hi ladies, I had surgery in September to remove chocolate cysts and endo tissue but for various reasons they didn’t remove all the endo. Before my surgery, my periods were regular – every for weeks. But afterwards the surgeon wanted to stop them to help with the endo and try to prevent future cysts

partial blindness, tremors and migraines from the mini pill
As the title says. 90% of the above symptoms stopped when I stopped using the pill in question. So, for those of you who are predisposed to migraines, what pills have you been able to tolerate better?

prednisolone interacting with contraceptives..? Is this a thing?
hello everyone. It’s been a long time since I posted on here but was just wondering if this is something that anyone anywhere has heard of or experienced? I’ve been taking 6mg of prednisone a day for over 5 years now. This is the absolute lowest dose I can stay at, any lower and I am so unwell I’

Best hormonal contraceptive pill?
Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS (im 23 years old) and am wondering if there's a contraceptive pill that people have found works best if you have PCOS as well as managing acne? I'm worried about the pill contributing to weight gain and making my bowel issues worse. I would really appreciate

irregular bleeding post laparoscopy
Hi everyone. Just wondering what everyone’s periods/bleeding after op was like? I’m just over 6 weeks post op after endo removal on both ovaries & left pod. Surgeon said it was stage 2 endo. Everything else was fine. Tubes good, etc. I have had irregular bleeding for the last 2 weeks & awful cramps.

Dienogest
My gynae dr moved me from Cerelle
contraception
to Dienogest as that apparently prevents the growth of endometriosis… I had my laparoscopy surgery in Nov 2021 which confirmed what I said all my life as a young girl to a grown adult- I have endometriosis.

Struggling with feeling like I’m “overreacting” whilst pushing for a diagnosis?
Hi, this is my first post! I’d be grateful for any advice or experiences that may help. I’ve been going to the doctor with my symptoms for six years now (I’m 22) and, although I haven’t been officially diagnosed with endo, a doctor told me last year during an internal ultrasound that he would be surprised

support in raising concerns with GP
Every appointment I attend, I am greeted with you need to take
contraception
, and you need to lose weight. My diet and activity levels are not bad, but I struggle to lose more than 5lbs, but again, the GP does not appear bothered with this.

Thoughts please!
I am still struggling terribly to tolerate any doseage of levo or lio - combo or mono. It makes me feel even worse/is completely debilitating. I have tried changing when I take the doses, the brand etc you name it and still no better. It’s notable that my blood pressure gets too low on it too. Am I

Hormone Help
Hello all, it’s me again… I’m wondering if anyone can help/provide advice with the contraceptive treatment I’m currently having issue with. Previously I was taking desogestrel back to back no break to stop ovulation. To say this didn’t agree with me would be an understatement, I bled every day and

menstruation after bilateral oophorectomy
Hi, I'm really hoping to open a big list of answers, but I'm stumped. In 2020 I had surgery and both ovaries were removed since they were necrotic. I never really knew what happened because you hadn't even started a sexual life and it turns out that they were infected by a sexually transmitted infection

Diagnosed with new non-invasive procedure: Relieved but I feel emotional
I have now been formally diagnosed- I scored 0.90008 out of 1 on my test which means I have a very high After many Gp visits, countless prescriptions of high painkillers, doctors saying it is period pain (no 💩) and my referral pushed for key hole …. I finally have an answer and closer to some physical

Hi so my story to date, I have had ovarian cysts every 6 to 12 months for about 12 years. Everytime intense pain, bleeding, few ruptures requiring surgery over the years. Repeatedly told I'm young (I am now 31) and people can have constant cysts but no further investigation offered as to why apart from

Combined pill, mini pill or alternatives?
Hey so I'm almost 40, I have had three previous laps to excise stage 4 endometriosis from my bladder, uterus and bowel. Been through 2 failed IVFs then had our little girl on the 3rd round via c-section. Now recovering about 10 weeks. Discussed endometriosis returning with GP and they have put me on

menopause/Desogestrel
ok, this feels like - probably is - a stupid question but… one of the options I have been given for diagnosed deep endo is Desogestrel to hopefully stop monthly heavy periods. I am wary firstly because the pill has not treated me well in the past, but also as a woman well into perimenopause - how would
