Hey so I'm almost 40, I have had three previous laps to excise stage 4 endometriosis from my bladder, uterus and bowel. Been through 2 failed IVFs then had our little girl on the 3rd round via c-section.
Now recovering about 10 weeks. Discussed endometriosis returning with GP and they have put me on Cerelle. Well the side effects are; may stop ovulation, may reduce bleeding, may stop periods, or all these could continue. Now I am just in the middle of what feels like a full blown endo period, ahh.
What do I do?
I want to change to a better suited pill but no idea what. What have you guys found works?

When it comes to pills, the reaction to them is very individual. Some are very happy on pills and some had horrific experiences. It seems that all meds that my GP put me on only exacerbated my symptoms. I ended up stopping taking any meds and changed my lifestyle. While it doesn't make it symptoms free, they are manageable enough. I actually have less symptoms than I had while on the different meds, where eventually I was taking pills to cover side effects of other pills, to cover side effects of those covering side effects and so on. It was a pretty deep rabbit hole.
I went through the exact same scenario. Had my girl after the second round of IVF. Had Mirena after pregnancy. Had to take it out after 1 year cause I was so depressed on it. It's a shame cause it worked wonders for the pain. Barely ever had a period whilst on it. I was then prescribed Qlaira pill and was told this is the closest pill to Mirena. So I'm like great! 1 year later I had to have an emergency laparoscopy after I was taken to the emergency with excruciating pain and was put on morphine. I have so much endo adhesions that my intestines were twisted and had an inflamed bladder, intestines and appendix. I'm at a loss now. I was in so much pain this week, couldn't drive and could barely walk. All this time I thought Endo wouldn't spread whilst on the pill 😭I just want to cry
