What's working for me, at least sort of
I say "at least sort of" because it's a case of nightly trial and error. But here's what I'm pinning my hopes on right now: 2 hours before I hope to go to sleep, I take a 100 mg capsule of medicinal grade CBD, along with 1 capsule of L-Theanine (I'm unsure of the mg.) and a 400 mg. tablet of magnesium

Sick again
I have a stinker of a cold again. The mepo and the pred are wonderful at suppressing the immune system. My youngest is at nusery - he has trisomy 21 and his immune system is not great. He picks bugs up and gives them to me. Before christmas I needed three courses of antibiotics to get rid of a chest

Some humour re doctors from my family.
Not sure if anyone with appreciate my mothers humour as much as I do but I thought I would share it just incase anyone else might find it funny. She was a children nurse and when I started psychiatric nursing you used to phone me up with advice on how to manage doctors. Here is an example 'Darling I

Pramipexole side effects
I've been on 2 x 0.88 Pramipexole for 6 months having spent all my adult life (I'm now almost 60) feeling tired during the day and very gradually getting RLS. I use a CPAP machine for central apnoeas, and then a sleep study showed that RLS/periodic limb movement was repeatedly waking me in the night.

Almost 2 weeks without pramipexerol. I'm taking lyrica 300 mg with 5 mg of oxycodone as a back- up. My question is can you have augmentation from lyrica? If so, how can I tell if it's the Lyrica that I'm augmenting from or if I'm still getting rid of the pramipexole in my system? I have frequent bad

Could it be that I've changed my antidepressent to morning?
I've just realised that I still feel a bit out of it this morning and it couldn't possibly be from taking that one dose of Amitriptyline 36 hours ago. Then I remembered I've also changed taking my Citalopram 10mg from nighttime to morning, as my nurse said the Citalopram can cause insomnia. But it can

Clomid
Prior to miscarriages my periods were regular and tests showed I was ovulating. After my 2nd miscarriage my periods have been irregular for 7 months. I have been prescribed clomid. However, I have first IVF appointment in March. Should I give clomid a try or just wait for IVF?

Parkinson's unusual 'off' times. Wearing off begins, but medication kicks back in before taking next pill.
My Mom was diagnosed a few years ago with PD, but it has progressed a lot in the past year. She got into a stable routine with C-L(25-100), although she experiences 'off times' or as she calls it 'slow downs' two hours after each pill. The strange thing is that it goes away after 45 minutes-1 hour, without

Anyone else in full time work and finding it hard to focus!?
I'm constantly searching for answers in my mind. Trying to figure out some logical, reasonable explanation about why at the age of 26 it's been taking us so long to conceive! I know there are others out there that have been waiting longer but I just cannot get my head around how difficult it is for

Tramadol, Lyrica, etc
Appointment with GP last Thursday. Husband in terrible shape that day which was good for the doctor to actually SEE in person. Falling asleep at 4 PM in the room, couldn't focus well. Coming off the Ropinerole (augmentation) and 24/7 RLS for days. She prescribed Lyrica. He took it for three nights

My 34 fiance' has FND, or does he?
Hi there, I am writing this post in hope that I can get some advice/support. My 34 yr old fiance' was diagnosed with FND approximately 2 years ago (and 6 months into our relationship). It has been a rocky road full of doctor and hospital visits since then, and forever changing intermittent symptoms.

Weaning off Pramipexole
Tomorrow night will be #14 and last pramipexole for me since i started weaning off last October. For me it's been one challenge after another. Not knowing what to expect each night. Some nights have been nothing short of torture. Currently I'm on 300 mg of Lyrica once a night with a backup of Oxycodone

Restless Legs moving up the body
I experience a strange feeling in my legs, but if I lay still it moves up my legs into my stomach and then around my chest. That makes me feel panicky and I resort to getting up. My Neurologist who diagnosed me with RLS and Parkinson's disease had prescribed Pramipexole ER. The insurance company does

Any advice please
I have been taking Pramipexole for a few months now with little or no relief. Previous to this I was taking Pergolide which worked perfectly for many years however now it is unavailable so I'm having to try alternatives. On top of this I've had a knee replacement and when the restless legs start

High b12 & elevated liver enzymes
Hi everyone - just had blood test results which show 1600 b12 levels & elevated liver enzymes. Can anyone tell me what the cause may be? My GP stopped b12 injections October 2017 as levels were >2000. I had been having b12 injections for approx 4 years but was never told why or investigated. Following
