Whole-pelvic radiation therapy for high-risk patients
If you have high-risk PCa, you probably should have whole pelvic radiation: https://www.prostatecancer.news/2021/08/whole-pelvic-radiation-therapy-for-high.html

Just realized I might have Coeliac disease. I had radio therapy for prostate cancer a couple of years ago, which blasts the surrounding organs including the bowel. So I thought my symptoms were due to that. But reading all the coeliac symptoms I wondered if that's what it is. So I'm trying a gluten free

Mushroom Suppliments
While I was undergoing radiation treatment I got mushroom supplements from Oriveda. I did a fair amount of reading and determined that this is the best source for supplements worth taking. The highly promoted Fungi Perfecti which you can find in all health food stors seems to be total bullshit, just

Bandaging not having much effect
I have lymphoedema in my left arm which has gotten worse recently as I had a BC recurrence and needed 33 radiotherapy to axilla as well as chemo in the last year. I've been using full sleeves with incorporated glove and having MLD every few weeks but the back of the hand stays swollen regardless so she

Advice and experience would be very much appreciated
My name is Angela. I have experienced hyperthyroidism- graves on and off for 20 years. It is usually controlled with medication and I can be without medication for periods of time but for some reason it pops back again and again. I have been told it would be best to do surgery to remove the thyroid or

Prostate-Specific Antigen: Predicting for Biochemical Failure During Salvage Radiation Therapy After Prostatectomy
For anyone thinking about Salvage Radiation Treatment (SRT) this article makes the point that you should have your PSA measured before, during (25th session) and after treatment...my Doctor did not believe this was necessary; I see now that it was. Luckily I had my own tests done at ultra low levels

How do I choose between Cyberknife (SBRT) monotherapy vs HDR Brachytherapy+EBRT?
M59, Gleason 4+3 (second opinion confirmed by Jonathan Epstein at John Hopkins), PSA7.8 average past 1 year, T2C stage. Haven't been operated or radiated before. Currently am being offered: 1) 5 fraction Cyberknife (SBRT) therapy that is concentrated to the prostate. 2) 1 time high dose rate Bracytherapy
