heading for salvage therapy
hello all. Well my last two ( three month) PSA tests were 0.10 and MO. And RO. Recommend somewhat early salvage radiation treatment. A question I would like some input on is should I look into proton therapy over IMRT. I would need to travel to Fred hutch or Salt Lake City as I live in Reno Nv. Just

Morning everyone, hope we are all keeping well. I have previously posted on here about mum, who has severe COPD and SCLC. She has undergone horrendous chemo and finished palliative radiotherapy. Hot sweats at night
I had 6 sessions of radio therapy 18 months ago, at the beginning I was sweating day and night, but eased of for a while, but these last few weeks the night sweats have become unbearable, mostly my head and face, pillows are soaked!I wonder is it low testosterone? Being overweight? As I've put weight

Short Term Disability
I'm starting EBRT in October. My doctor has said he would support me in taking short term disability. I will be using this benefit as I feel I will benefit from being able to concentrate on my health during this time. I'm curious as to how many of you took off work while receiving radiation treatment

Stage 3 curative?
HiMy mum (76 years old with COPD and emphysema) was diagnosed on 17 June with stage 3 nsclc with localised spread to a rib and lymph node. She has her 20th and last radiotherapy dose tomorrow. The oncologist said he was aiming for curative. There has been no mention of chemo or targeted therapy. Is this

Theoretical dosage from a LU-177 injection
Hi ! I’m trying to teach myself facts of the different types of treatments I’ve gone through. When having LU-177 injections I never really talked with my MO regarding dosage (actually GY). Saw a new study ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10116658/ ) where they are planning two arms

Orgovyx after 12 months
Just reaching the 12 month mark on Orgovyx. Lately, it is beginning to kick my ass. Just feel weak, depressed and unmotivated to exercise. Getting tired of hot flashes. I have put on about 15 lbs. since beginning ADT prior to radiation therapy. I was diagnosed GG3 (4+3=7), T2bN0M0. Lesion on one half

Suggestions after Lutetium + Olaparib not working?
Hello community - hoping for some guidance post-Lutetium + Olaparib for my dad, which hasn't been working and has been extremely hard on his body (has needed blood transfusions practically every other week) and his markers are all going up. This is a rather long summary but grateful for any thoughts/

DCIS, Lumpectomy and Rheumatoid Arthritis
I had a lumpectomy just under three months ago following a diagnosis of DCIS after a routine mammogram. It was barely detectable so although I don't feel particularly lucky, I know I was lucky to have it discovered early. The surgery was successful in removing the cancer with a clear margin. Because
