Blood test result worried
Hi everyone, can you help, I'm a bit worried :( My GP rang me about my regular MTX blood test.. He is concerned it shows anaemia and inflammation, which I've shown before, nothing new He said it's probably just from the RA, or the MTX. (I'm on Metaject 15mg for 3 years now ) -But he said to let

Going through CINIII with high risk hpv.
Negative (normal) cytology with high risk hpv and having to go back for
colposcopy
. I worry the hpv won't go and worry about the cancers it could cause. Anyone else gone through similar?

Have now received my CT Scan and Colonoscopy results, nothing "sinister", polyp benign, all the 13 bits taken for biopsy normal. Nothing found that could explain my symptoms. Consult has ordered another Faecal Calprotectin test so will have to wait to see the results of that. Feel relieved after

Anyone eating Imodium like me?
Anyone eating Imodium like pez to get control of watery/oily bowel movements? I consume 4 to 6 daily and am never constipated. I’ve had a colonoscopy, dr says nothing wrong at that end. Let’s run more test that cost more money. I said no and started taking Imodium then.

Hysterectomy in Dec 20 bowel issues and right side pain since just a loss what to do next
I had a hysterectomy full one in December 2020 confirming adenmyosis. Two weeks after surgery severe right hand side pain occurred and after an X-ray and ct bowels confirmed as impacted. Lots of hospital stays and distended bowel. Colonoscopy done 20 biopsies all clear and some inflammation in top and

Flexible sigmoidoscopy
Hi Just wondering what a flexible sigmoidoscopy is like and what to expect. I hear that they administer an enema 30 minutes before the actual procedure. I've had a colonoscopy before, how does this compare, and how does the enema compare? Thanks for your input.

Aphthous ulcers
Hi. I was diagnosed with coeliac about 18 months ago, told to give up gluten, then oats and soya too, but have continued to have diarrhoea and bloating but no pain ever since. I’ve had lots of scans recently to get to the bottom of it and an endoscopy showed my villi had grown back so that was good

Hubby referred for transplant 😟
So finally today we had our face to face with hubby’s liver specialist after a lot of inconsistent care and back and forth to the hospital and drs. We finally got to see someone that actually knows my husband and she was genuinely shocked at his deterioration. She had not seen him for 14 months. After

I was then referred for ultrasound scans and a
colposcopy
. The scans on my pelvis, urinary tract and TV were all clear although the TV scan was painful at times. They took biopsies during the
colposcopy
and explained that they thought it would be cin2 or cin3 changes and unlikely to be cancerous.

Buscopan and it's effectiveness
Have u had a colonoscopy to rule out the obvious! I find buscopan has little effect. Pain like that sounds like trapped gas. Perhaps check your diet. Good luck

Moving towards 10K
So for many years now I had reckoned I could not run ! Used to run as a teenager but I had decided that now aged 64 my body didn't do running. I rarely ran for more than 30 seconds to catch a bus or main a connecting train. I did walk and and I liked walking in mountains so was not super unfit -
