I had a hysterectomy full one in December 2020 confirming adenmyosis. Two weeks after surgery severe right hand side pain occurred and after an X-ray and ct bowels confirmed as impacted. Lots of hospital stays and distended bowel. Colonoscopy done 20 biopsies all clear and some inflammation in top and end of bowel not to worry about. Pain issue not resolved, they want me to come off opioids but I cannot take lower drugs as I am allergic to codeine. No length of when bowel will become normal. I have to continue with 10 senna tablets a night 3 enemas a day and targit which is oxycodone and in hibitor to stop constipation. I am scheduled for acupuncture and visceral manipulation via my osteopath twice a week from Monday. Just want to feel better to return to work full time. Doing 2hours a day at the moment. I’m going to ask gp to see who can adhesions with me and what can be done. Also a psychiatrist specialising in pain. I’ve seen pain Management team and they say I’m doing all that can be done. I’m walking each day a little bit have no energy and force myself to eat. Any advice welcomed.
