Advice after clear Laparoscopy
Hi All, Hope you don’t mind me asking so many questions in one post but here I go 🙏🏻 I had my first laparoscopy on the NHS last Thursday (exactly a week ago at the time of writing this) and it found no endometriosis at all, my dye test came back clear, normal uterus, normal ovaries so I’m baffled!

Colonoscopy in a few days. So scared!
Hi guys I'm a 42 year old female. Just after my son was born 11 years ago I developed excruciating stomach issues on the left side and was doubled in pain. I had to go to a walk in centre. It may be worth mentioning that I suffer from anxiety and PTSD, but I was under a lot of stress at the time. The

Hi all, me again.. back with another question. 30 yo female. 9 months postpartum! Had a colonoscopy a few months ago and came back clear. So the problem that developed during pregnancy and continued until 2 weeks ago was frequent bowel movements, especially in the morning! I had to the morning rush

Hi All, well after a routine visit to the doctors finding my PSA level was high, he sent me for a colonoscopy & MRI scan, the scan showed up some abnormalities and was sent for a biopsy, the results of that showed 10/18 had cancer, I was given a grade 3, and Gleason score of 7(4+3), last week I went

Blood in stool?
Apologies for the gross image.. I have had blood in my stool for the last few days, almost a week now. I used to get hemorrhoids but dont seem to have one. No itching, pain or any blood on the toilet paper. I checked in a mirror and have no visible hemorrhoid or fissures externally. Haven't eaten anything

Any advice/knowledge appreciated
I have a colonoscopy Friday and I’m so anxious. Doctors think I have piles but I refused a rectum exam because I think it could be more than that and don’t want to get fobbed off. Has anyone experienced this? My bowel habitats aren’t normal, I have diarreah every other week, thin stools, constipation

Is there a way to stop the cramping?
I lean towards IBS-D pretty daily. My problems start around 630am every morning where I feel cramps in my lower abdomen and then I have a Bowel Movement and I feel better until the next wave. Sometimes the BM is solid and sometimes its more loose.. I had a colonoscopy and the doctor didn't find anything

Feel great but blood tests don’t show it
I have never felt as good as I do right now No aches or pains, feel and look great ( I think!) Blood tests are showing high bilirubin though MRI showed stricture of small bile ducts in liver and also, as I’ve known for two years I have two gall stones Main bile duct and hepatic vein patent and Doppler

First Colonoscopy
Hi, I’ve got my colonoscopy in two weeks as I’ve got a suspected IBD. I also have a family history of Crohn’s & Bowel Cancer. Does anyone have any advice for having a colonoscopy? I’ve got bad anxiety and I’m scared to have the procedure done & I’m scared of what the results might be. Thanks ☺️

Colonoscopy and moviprep
I am due to a colonoscopy this week to investigate chronic diarrhoea , no blood. Thoughts are post infectious ibs currently I see the recommendations to chill moviprep but cannot make it with cold water. How soon before taking it are you allowed to make up the solution? I want to give it a chance

ENT referral
Hi guys, looking to see if anyone has similar issues to mine. I've had ongoing acid reflex/Gerd type symptoms for 8 months with PPI medication seemingly helping. My throat however comes and goes with discomfort, not pain and not really sore just feels like my throat swollen inside. A few GPS have checked

Botox injection
After months of pan, had a colonoscopy and a Botox injection. Report after it said I had a fissure. Now I’m constipated and I feel quite swollen down there. I expect not to poop for a few days after a colostomy but I’m feeling uncomfortable now and I’m a bit worried about the swelling, I assume it’s
