I am scheduled for my regular colonoscopy. Because I have had polyps removed in pervious procedures I have asked if I should stop my Apixaban (long term due OHS) prior to. Upset after consultation
Hi everyone. Sorry for long post but I think it helped me writing this out. I just had a consultation with rheumatologist which didn't go well. I had antibiotics back in Feb and came off the Baricitinib for a week and then was referred for colonoscopy/biopsies. I spoke to helpline and nurse said

Help please for daughter abroad
I am posting on behalf of my daughter who lives and works in N Cyprus . I hope that is alright. She is 54. Around Christmas she started to get diarrhoea frequently. She was here for week in February and seemed not too bad. However the diarrhoea persisted and got more frequent so she went to see a doctor

Until I've seen a Gastroenterologist and had a colonoscopy I've been advised by a specialist nurse at the hospital to stop the weekly jabs. They are asking a Consultant if there could be a connection between jabs and gastro problems

I Stand Corrected, A New FMT/PD Study Originating In the USA!
It is just a small (12 participants) pilot trial, but it is definitely a step in the right direction. They used "FMT capsules" and that may not be the most effective method, but it seems much less invasive than colonoscopy delivery. https://www.frontiersin.org/articles/10.3389/fneur.2023.1104759/full

anaemia
I’ve recently finished taking pred after a four year struggle. I am now diagnosed with anaemia ! I’ve had two blood tests so far, a urine check, a bowel kit done and am now waiting for a colonoscopy. This is to eliminate anything like internal bleeding. I do not have Celiac disease either. In the mean

Hi, I’m looking for advice please, for a long time now I have been going to the toilet multiple times a day, sometimes up to 7, it’s usually soft and easy to pass. Over the last 2-3 months this has changed to either really soft, or hard and unable to go. Even when it’s soft it’s difficult to get
