late period and colonoscopy

hi everyone! hope you’re all doing well. just wanting a little bit of advice.

i’m on the pill and usually have my period on sunday or monday during my bleed break. however it is now tuesday and still no sign of said period.

my period has never been later than monday in all six years of being on it. i take it religiously and have never had any issues.

i did however have a colonoscopy with sedation around two weeks ago and was wondering if that causes a delay in periods? i’m stressed and anxious too so maybe that’s a contribution. i’m going to take a pregnancy test in the morning but i haven’t had sex for a couple of weeks.

any advice would be appreciated
