Spotting

Hi everyone, hope you’re all ok.

I’m waiting for my first laparoscopy and have been since May 2021. I have no children and have had no success with conceiving.

I’ve suffered with symptoms of endo since a teen, but since last year I have been spotting around the mid point of my cycle for around 3-5 days and after intercourse. The doctors say this is “normal” but for the last 18 years prior to this, it hasn’t been normal for me.

I’m just wondering if anyone else has this and can give any advice as to what could be the cause?

Edit - I’ve had a colposcopy which has come back clear

Im really sorry you are going through this. You have similar story as me. Im bleeding mid cycle but on the depo. This has never been normal for me. Like you I had problems begin as a teen. I was treated with depo perfectly until January last year when I started bleeding during and after sex. Dr said thats normal. Then I noticed bleeding mid injection in the spring and again June. The next Dr said thats normal. I said 'to hell it is!'

Personally I think its been either the covid vaccine or Ive misscarried. Ive been told both are impossible but nothing else has changed in 13 years.

The gynae has upped my depo injections and recommended me for an mri. If I get an answer I'll find you on here but it might never be possible 😔
