CLL / P17 with Mutation
My sister in law who is 60 yrs. old has been diagnosed with CLL / P17 deletion with mutation. She has BWC of 213,000 and swollen lymph nodes. She was put on Hydrea that brought it down to 177,000 then they added Imbruvica. Hopefully this will bring it down until she can have a complete stem cell transplant

Celebrating two years online with our 7th CLL Tribune Newsletter
I need to start by saying thank you. This issue of The CLL Tribune (http://www.cllsociety.org/newsletter/) is our 7th quarterly newsletter. I am proud to say it marks two years since the CLL Society has had a web presence. This issue includes our Basic section where I do the math on how much CLL we have

Next steps? Full/partial hysterectomy
So, home from diagnostic lap and they found endo mainly around my ovaries. I was also meant to have a hysteroscopy and polypectomy and have coil fitted but they couldn't do these three things as my cervix was blocked with fibroids (they hadn't mentioned fibroids on my scan). The surgeon said there are

I had a nodal biopsy in January that said I have SLL, it was confirmed by two different doctors. My dr is at MD Anderson and ran every test under the sun. He told me I have stage IV SLL. Carotid pulse
Hi, I am newly diagnosed with COPD after a flare in January. Aside from hyperinflation, my biggest issue is how strong my pulse is all over my body but I also get a really strong pulse in both arteries in my neck, so much so I can see it pounding in the mirror. I was wondering if anyone else gets this

The start for me on FCR.
Hi all. Though its about time I posted and said hi after following this wonderful resource for so long. WBC at high 80s, and slow growing lymph nodes but plummeting platelets, crushing fatigue and night sweats. So here I am sitting on a bed having my first cycle of rituximab ( FCR ) . Wish me luck and

Efficacy of lenalidomide in relapsed/refractory chronic lymphocytic leukemia patient: a systematic review and meta-analysis

After I got diagnosed with COPD in Feb 2016, I ended up losing my job with a global FM company. A clever move by them. So my wife and I sold up and have only recently moved to the sea coast of Lincolnshire. Before leaving Berkshire, I had my 12 monthly COPD review and had to provide the nurse with Spirometry

Anyone diagnosed with Appendiceal cancer along with CLL?
Waiting on post-appendectomy pathology report. Pathologist thinks it's cancer, my surgeon doesn't. Just trying to have a plan in place should it prove to be a yes. I currently see Dr. Byrd at Ohio State for my CLL, on watch and wait. Wondering how the CLL would limit my ability to receive the typical

Home remedies?
Hi New Friends! Just want to run this past you. A friend of mine is a Herbal, home remedy Guru/fanatic. With that said he whipped up a batch of Tumeric, ginger root, onions and brown sugar and calls it a "lung cleanser". Advise that I have 2 tbs in the morning and 2 at night. Being that I have these
