Uterine Polyp Biopsies
Hi everyone đđ First time posting for me on here. Sorry if it's a bit of a long one. I'm still in the investigation stages of my symptoms. I was told I probably had Endometriosis back in December and had a Laparoscopy today where no Endo was found but biopsies of my uterus lining was taken and what

Hi, I havenât posted for a while as I have been investigated following a positive faecal occult blood test. They have found a large polyp in my caecum which I am having removed on Friday. For some unknown reason, I have had a few months of remission from my RLS but now they are âkicking offâ again.

Don't want to go back on the pill/more surgeries! Deep infiltrating endo on bowel and uterine polyp removed recently for heavy bleeding.
Hello fellow endo warriors. I have a dilemma. I really don't want to go back on the bcp after being on it for 15 years as it has not been effective for my deep infiltrating endo on my bowel. My ultimate goal is to heal endo at the core using non-hormonal & surgery approach. Not just a bandaid solution

Has anyone here discovered they have endometriosis/and or adenomyosis at a later stage in life? Just found out at 50!
Right now I am sad and very angry. I have been under my local gynae and gastroenterology departments for over 20 years. Thatâs 20+ years of endless gastro tests for my ongoing digestive issues (Iâve had 2 colonoscopies, 2 gastroscopes, blood tests, fit tests, a scan for bile acid malabsorption). During

Adenomyosis, should I have hysterectomy?
The short version is that I have adenomyosis. I've always had heavy periods with period pains that make my thighs numb and require prescription painkillers. At the age of 44 I had some symptoms of perimenopause and tried HRT. After two years I came off and that seems to have triggered a strong reaction

Recent blood work, raised eosinophil count!
I'm going for a nasal polyp removal operation next week (Private) and I needed a blood test and cardioelectrogram prior. There were some minor values 0.01 up or down on 2 or 3 values mostly inflammation indicators. However, Eosinophil count was 0.5 x10*3ul which was beyond range according to the pdf

Huge polyp found - any success stories after polypectomy?
Hi everyone, Hope you are all doing okay. Please can I ask whether anyone has experienced a large polyp and polypectomy with positive outcomes? After four failed transfers and some mid cycle spotting, my fertility consultant recommended a hysteroscopy. He said he didn't expect to find anything as all

Median PFS for FCR treated CLL patients with IGHV-M was 14.6 years vs 4.2 years for patients with IGHV-UM. V+O and I+R look to be superior
An update of the long-term follow-up results from the original 300-patient FCR (fludarabine, cyclophosphamide, and rituximab) study initiated at MD Anderson in 1999,
Sustained remissions in CLL after frontline FCR treatment with very-long-term follow-up,
reports ~47% of patients with mutated IGHV

Not officially diagnosed...in watch and wait
As the title says, I'm in the WW stage. I saw a hematologist 5 years ago about my lymphocytosis and he felt he could not give a definitive diagnosis. In March this year, I had some stomach issues and bloodwork (above). A peripheral blood smear was done. Below are the notes: There is mild leukocytosis

root canals
hi all , I have been on the W and W program. My blood dis-order was discovered in 2019. I referred to it as a blood disorder as they still havenât taken a bone marrow sample to confirm that itâs truly CLL. I am curious if anyone in the group has tried removing any old root canals to see if it

Hi folks! Hope we're all travelling well. Can I tap into your collective wisdom and experience? I've just come back from my regular check up with the CLL specialist. My ALC has gone from 29 to 53 in 6 months, or 91% of the blood count. Before then, it was steadily rising, but dropping at intervals. The

Re-inoculate?
Hello you wonderful and oh-so-knowledgeable folks! This is a good-news story. After 11 months on a zanu-obin-venetoclax trial I've been in remission for 3 years. AND a lymphocyte subset test suggests that my B cells are coming back! Now here's my question: while I was on treatment and in the past

Importance of CLL Specialist
This excellent study was just published. Why should you get a CLL specialist? My community oncologist gave me a fish and a flow test and told me that I wouldnât need treatment for 3-5 years. He didnât test for IGVH and didnât know that there is a specific TP53 test. My CLL specialist tested for 500 mutations

Leukemia-associated macrophages, their role in the CLL Tumor Micro-environment and how they affect progression and therapy response
Understanding how the CLL Tumor Micro-environment (TME) functions is crucial to improving CLL therapy. CLL cells are not as robust as healthy B cells and they rely on their created TME in the nodes and bone marrow for their survival. That's why it's so easy to kill CLL cells with in vitro testing - checking
