Microscopic colitis associated with RA
Well the colonoscopy didn't happen two weeks ago due to having to give up a non RA medication I was too ill to go. Update it's next week and I can stay on the medication until the day of the colonoscopy. A biopsy is needed to confirm MC and then the treatment of steroids. You may wonder why I'm telling

Losing blood, mucus & clots very scared
My mother has very aggressive, ulcerative
colitis
, and I mentioned this to the doctor. I feel very nauseous and unable to eat. Iāve got low stomach cramps and low back pain and yesterday I passed quite a large clot (shown on the toilet paper in my photos) which really scared me.

Blood tests
Hello, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative
Colitis
over 20 years ago. I therefore have regular blood tests to check that the medications I take are not negatively impacting me. In November last year I had an abnormal blood test result at hospital (ALT was 88, other liver tests were in range).

Reactions to insect bites
(
Colitis
, neuronitis, sinusitis etc etc) but inflammatory markers generally don't increase.I don't have any major skin issues which the rheum said made bechets less likely but one that I do get is massive reactions to insect bites. A mosquito bite can often result on a palm sized swelling.

Any advice for gastro symptoms which respond to steroids, but no diagnosis? Does normal colonoscopy cover the small bowel?
hi all, I hope it's ok to post here - I don't have a diagnosis of crohn's or
colitis
but am looking for information.

Microscopic colitis
MC is not life threatening and can be treated successfully and not to be confused with other more serious
colitis
diseases.
