Newly diagnoised
So after 4 years of pain I have finally been diagnosed with 'mild crohns'. Had a endoscopy the beginning of this year and being sent for MRE and possibly a capsule endoscopy too. Does anyone have any tips of trying to pin point your triggers, I've been keeping a food diary lately but can't see much connection

Advice on medication please
I was diagnosed with
Colitis
in may 2016, i was put on Octasa (Mesalazine) 1200mg taken twice a day. Since then i haven't had any further attacks. Has anyone been able to reduce their medication or even been able to come off it completely. Maybe it's the medication that keeps symptoms at bay.

Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated
She has colorectal cancer 20 years ago and had radiation
colitis
. I should have known something was up when she wouldn’t really discuss what would happen post lobectomy. She was more concerned with hosptialization and diarrhea. She wouldn’t do incentive spirometer, she wouldn’t eat, nothing.

Cortisol Results
Hi, so sorry for the long post but I’ve been feeling really bad recently, I have diagnosed ME/CFS since 2013, also have Ulcerative
Colitis
, but this is different. I decided to have some private tests done. 1. Cortisol Saliva x 4 and 2. full thyroid blood test.

My daughter is 20 years old and has been battling ulcerative
colitis
for the past year. No medication is helping. Dr suggested her taking this. I read some of the side effects and it has me concerned.
