Warfarin's side effects

I have taken warfarin before 3 years 4 tab.of 2.5mg Bid after 2 year I have blood in my stool when my doctor checked up he tell me that I have ulsrative colitis can it's the side effect of warfarin if yes pls advice me my age is 30years now

I doubt that it's a side effect of the warfarin. But you really need to keep your ulcerative colitis under control as you can with diet and exercise. Have your doctor who prescribed the warfarin and your and gastroenterologist be in touch on your treatment plan, if you have different drs. Your warfarin shouldnt make your ulcerative colitis worse, but you have to be careful and aware of flare ups. I wish you all the best!
