To get tested for Hashi's you need the following antibody tests:
Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO)
Thyroglobulin (Tg)
If your doctor wont do them, and most doctors think antibodies aren't important, then you can get them tested privately with one of our recommended labs.
There is no treatment for Hashi's, it's just the resulting hypothyroidism that's treated. But some people find that a gluten free diet helps, but it's not guaranteed. Also supplementing with selenium l-selenomethionine 200mcg daily can help reduce the antibodies
