Cholesterol is high at 6.8 cannot take statins as I have haemochromatosis. Been given nustendi but after reading the side effects am scared to start them. Common side effect is gastritis and stomach issues, I have ulcerative colitis and diverticulitis so enough going on with stomach. Has anyone tried successfully lowering it with plant sterols, I am going to work on diet as well.
