Mucus as bad as Diarrhea.
I had surgery for permanent colostomy / stoma and I get lots of mucus from my butt. It comes as quickly and unannounced as diarrhea did before. I'm cancer free and because of this, I don't have the severe diarrhea of the past under radiation. Tracking it without sampling, I probably get nearly 4-6 fluid

Stage 4 adenocarcinom
My husband was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma stage 4 nsc lung cancer poorly differentiated. He had a liquid biopsy and dna sequencing done and was started on 2 chemo drugs and immunotherapy (kaytruda). He also has a plural effusion and the lung is collapsed. We were told that the tumors were massive

new nodule found one year after lobectomy
One year ago in a weird incident of Tachycardia (caused by dehydration) following a bout of intestinal virus, I was given a x-ray of my heart to rule out other heart issues. My heart was fine, but nodules were found in my lungs. Long story made shorter, a upper left lobectomy caused by a small 22 mm

2 1/2 weeks post op
I had a right lobectomy and was wondering about recuperation. I have SOB upon minor exertion, a cough, minor incision pain (VATS), fatigue, and minor indigestion. Is this normal as to recovery? My NP says it is but I want to hear from those experiencing recovery. Robin

Post LUL lobectomy
Hi, I finally had the biopsy surgery 2 weeks ago. I guess all is going well. I have not had a follow up with my surgeon yet. I do know that it was cancer which is why they took the lobe, but I don’t really know anything else. I was in the hospital for 8 days. I was ready to go home and then experienced

Bowel obstructions
Hi ladies just wanted to know if any of you have had more than one bowel obstruction cause by your tumour? And how many of you now have a colostomy or an ileostomy? I have recently had a short bowel ileostomy January 6th, this happened because of collapsed bowel at the Ileocecal junction due to 2nd reoccurrence

My latest CT scan results
Had my CT scan this past Thursday, results posted this morning, I see my oncologist tomorrow to discuss the results. This is what the report says: There is a pleural-based nodule in the posterior segment of the right upper lobe measuring 1.1 x 0.6 centimeters. There are no other pulmonary nodules

Can acupuncture help pudendal pain?
Hello, I’m new to this forum. I’ve had pudendal neuralgia since 2003. I had a repair op to the rectocele in 2007 which sadly made it worse. I’ve been on Pregabalin & Nortriptyline at various doses since then. I managed to get it manageable to get out and about but since Christmas I encountered a bad

My fifth surgery since 2011-2018
In june 2016 , i had my third surgery, but it was not a successful one. The surgeon resect an inflamatory fibroid and kept a clear cell reccurent nodule deep in the left side of the vaginal vault. January 2017 , my ct scan shows that this nodule is still the same , increased in size from 2cm up

Would someone have a glance at my symptoms and see if it is possible Behcet's please?
Hi - I am now 56 and have been suffering now since 1998 as a result of a series of surgeries (21 anaesthetics since then!) to repair a Recto-Vaginal Fistula of unknown cause. It has now been repaired successfully but has left me with 4 abdominal hernias, a colostomy, degenerative discs in my spine, arthritis

After lobectomy
Hi all, I’m new here.. I had a vats upper left lobectomy for nsclc stage 1A nodule 12 weeks ago. Clean lymph nodes. I have a strong family history of lung cancer so I was in an annual screening program. It was found with my 2nd annual scan. I was asymptomatic. 57 year old female. Otherwise, pretty healthy

Thyroid blood test results
I'm new here and would like some feedback on my results if possible please. I've recently had a blood test as I've been struggling with low energy levels and mood, I had a lobectomy 3 years ago but this is the first time I've had a detailed test. It looks like I have a low Vit D which I can supplement

Nerve pain after VATS surgery
Hello everyone. First of all, I have never seen a braver group of survivors. Your stories, words of encouragement and positive outlook is amazing. My question is how everyone that has had VATS lobectomy surgery have dealt with your nerve pain. I am 3 weeks healing from surgery and feel just like me
