A short rant against pee in the pants
Nine months into this horrible journey of advanced prostate cancer caused by Agent Orange, seemingly endless surgeries, complete urinary incontinence, a temporary colostomy, absolute desexualization, humiliation and embarrassment and I have finally realized there are no quick solutions, no easy answers

Recent stage 1 diagnosis
Been a long few months for me - started with a routine mammo that detected calcifications that turned out to be DCIS (stage 0) - that was removed with follow up radiation required. CT scan to prepare for radiation detected spot on lung (healthy non- smoker, asymptomatic) - which led to PET scan. That

Hello I have stage 4 Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis affecting uterus, ovaries, bowel and rectum. By my assessment I've had endo for 25 years. Diagnosed last year. Hello, I’m new to this. My mom was diagnosed with stage 2b lung cancer. She had lower and middle right lobes removed. They actually changed the stage to 1. Good news you would think. She is 71 and smoked for 55 years. Stopped in March after the pet scan confirmation. She has colorectal cancer 20 years

More research needed for SIBO and liver/digestive issues
In 2015 I had an open resection of the liver for a tumor that continued to grow and began to show characteristics of carcinoma, however found to be a fnh. I was experiencing significant issues with digestion, exhaustion, foggy head, pain so on... symptoms were debilitating (began in 2011). I went from

Constant Gastric problem in SLE
My mom was diagnosed with SLE in 2014. She has already been operated for colostomy in 2008 with complete rectum removed. She is currently on Omnacortil 10mg and MMF 2gm per day. Also taking pantop DSR/rantac OD for acidity control since last 8 months but that seems ineffective now. Also, I think prolonged

Should I undergo another colonoscopy?
I am 76 and have chronic kidney disease. I had a colonoscopy late last year, which was a failure because my colon was not completely cleaned out. At that time, I pointed out to my gastroenterologist that because of a severe case of diverticulitis, a colostomy and reversal, I have severe scarring in

Mucus as bad as Diarrhea.
I had surgery for permanent colostomy / stoma and I get lots of mucus from my butt. It comes as quickly and unannounced as diarrhea did before. I'm cancer free and because of this, I don't have the severe diarrhea of the past under radiation. Tracking it without sampling, I probably get nearly 4-6 fluid
