colectomy
3 weeks ago, he has been having real problems swallowing, and chokes on water etc. I am about to collect some thickener from the farmacia. He has little appetite and his speech has pretty much disappeared, all in a short space of time.

sweating a lot!
Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some guidance. I am sweating profusely multiple times a day. It's as if I stepped out of a shower. I've told my doctor (primary care physician) and he assumes it's menopause given my age (54). Something about it doesn't feel right though.

Advice on respiratory issues.
Hi all. I recently had a chest x ray in September, a mid way request as my scan is not due until February. It was fine. However I have noticed that occasionally it feels as if something has hit my respiratory system making me cough, it could be a smell that I am not familiar with. I am reluctant

Pip cut benefit by 50%. Lied in report
I had a PIP assessment 4 months early, which seemed strange. I had 4 operations last year, including the removal of a kidney for stage 4 cancer and a reversed colostomy, I almost died. Also pneumonia 4 times, pleurisy and 2 very serious chest infection. I also have a growth in my pituitary gland. I

Comfort at last!
I had a vats lobectomy over 18months ago and thankfully all well so far (apart from having treatment for anal cancer this year) but I digress. Wearing a bra is painful because I have a keloid scar from my cats op. After much research and help from doctors to no avail I have found an easy remedy that

Colon Mass Secondary to Lung Cancer
Has anyone experienced having a malignant colon mass after being treated for Lung Cancer? My father had upper right lung lobectomy in 2017 and finished chemotherapy, now he has a colon mass, his gastro doctor said he needs to undergo chemotherapy first to make the tumor smaller then will proceed to surgery

Lyrica - side effects
Hi I’ve just been reading some of the recent posts about medication for RLS. I can honestly say the only thing that worked for myself was co codomol a 60 mg dose before bed time. I have bowel complications ( high risk of blockage ) And found that this was making me too constipated so had to stop . I

Is it back?
Hi everyone. Had left lower lobectomy 18 months ago. Had a CT Scan two weeks ago and the nodules in my right middle and right lower have grown. 🙁. Still very small. 8mm and 5mm But they have grown. My consultant once told me if they grow chances are it’s cancer in the right lung as in the left.

Left lobectomy
I'm sat here in hospital recovering from a lower left lobectomy. Had full thoracic surgery. Apart fromthe usual it seems as though my lung is leaking around the staples. The consultant says this is normal but they can't take my drain out until it stops leaking. Has anyone else had this problem?

Delicate??????
Forget the word ‘delicate’ when discussing bowel problems!!!! Everybody has bowels, and bowel activity. I have had systemic sclerosis for thirty years. I have had five operations, and have ended up with a colostomy, and mesh for a hernia. All this because of slow motility, and lack of peristalsis in

Has anyone had ground glass opacity found in lung during X-ray?
My CAT scan and chest x-ray shows ground glass opacity in my right long. Also found during these tests was a small tumor which was just removed during a vets lobectomy. Just wondering if anyone has had the ground glass opacity issue and if so what the outcome was
