BEWARE All B12d DIZZY nerve damaged people.

11.08.20 at 05.00 I got up for a pee. Returned to bed turned around to sit on bed to get back into bed, lost balance, stuck right leg out to try and save self but I was straddling wood knob 20" ... fell straight on knob, ouch, it went through anus, rectum ripping apart then through perianal region (bit in the middle) and ten ripped out side of vagina! I now have colostomy bag.

Take care all B12d sufferers this was all down to doc's ignoring my symptoms for years XX Jac

Oh my!!!!!!! So very sorry to hear of your dreadful accident, that must have been extremely painful. I hope that they will be able to make effective repairs for you in the future. I can't imagine how you must be feeling at the moment my heart goes out to you. I too suffer dizziness both from pa and menieres disease so I will be clearing the area around my bed as I too need to get up in the night sometimes. Wishing you the very best going forward in your care and sending you hugs XX

Hello Jac, My goodness ! I'm so sorry you've had to go through that .

Well done for remaining positive and sharing your story to help others, very brave !

Before adequate treatment ( self injecting weekly ) I had no balance in the dark whatsoever.

Didn't want to wake my husband by turning on a light and fell onto the edge of my bedside cabinet breaking my ribs.

Treating B12 deficiency properly surely works out cheaper than managing the consequences of accidents, disability, etc.

Take good care of yourself , very best wishes for a speedy recovery Xx
