Advice for my Mum if that’s ok
Although she is on a lot of meds : metformin, beta blockers, high blood pressure meds, something for cholesterol, she is very cautious about taking tramadol or co
codimal
. She try’s to control her pain with mostly paracetamol and noon and again neurogenic.

The Good, the Bad & the Ugly
Good: Travelled to Humberside to see my great-grandson (Jaxon) in person (3 weeks old now). Went back to hotel just before the main snow arrived and cut off the village. Bad: Roads all blocked on Wednesday so confined to hotel room (Aah!! Stir crazy!!). Slipped in bath (support rails in Accessible Room

Post egg collection pain
I’m on my first short protocol ICSI cycle, and had egg collection yesterday- we got 11. I’ve got stage 4 endo and went into the cycle aware of an endometrioma on my Left ovary. Whilst I was prepared for the bloating/ gas/ constipation following egg collection/ starting progesterone which is uncomfortable

Chronic back pain
I have been suffering with the most chronic lower back pain today. I’m Day 3 of my period and it literally feels like someone is inside my body, sitting on my lower back. I cried in front of my workmates today cause it hurt so much😢 what pain relief do people use? Co-codamol isn’t touching the pain

Any one know any good drugs to get me through the day?
Currently I take antidepressants, magnesium, vitamins, regular acupressure and acupuncture, yoga, 2 co-codamol at night and as much codeine as I can take through the day without getting too tired. Is there anything else someone can recommend that isn't too tiring but will let me do my schoolwork/ go

Relief from sciatica?
Hi folks, to cut a long story very short, 14 years ago (2003) I had three operations on my back. I was a nurse, the usual thing. I had a large disc protrusion at L4/5 so had a discectomy and five days later had another as the disc slipped again. It was also noted at the time that I had a mild disc

Naproxen
Hello, Has anyone ever tried Naproxen? I have recently been prescribed 500mg Naproxen for my joints and overall pain. The doctor said I would be fine taking Paracetamol with them but not Co-Codamol or Ibuprofen. I also take Sertraline, will this have any effect? Thank you :)

Newby needing diet, pain relief and extreme tiredness advice please.
Hi everyone, I’m new to the forum and looking for some general advice. I had endometriosis when I was 19. I had a laparoscopy and didn’t have any symptoms for 20 years. However last April the endo came back with a vengeance. I’m sure my story of suffering is similar to everyone on here and the past

change of meds
Hi everybody, I have had to get some different painkillers for my RA as the mtx, ibuprofen, amitriptyline, co-codamol, and hydroxychloraquin were not working so I am weaning off the amitriptyline, and started on Pregbalin. I have just had the best nights sleep for months, as I have never been able to

Morphine Management
Hello all. Have just re-started morphine -lowest dose - last night as have a very degenerated spine and last week had a fall (which - hopefully - has resulted in some internal bruising and will resolve) but necessarily needed the morphine in order to work. Have had poor reaction to all the pain meds
