Co-codamol

Tried to get an early night last night, and cut down on the co-codamol. Ended up watching Family Guy til 4am after multiple attempts to sleep.. I feel like I’m wasting my life away, feel like I’m a shadow of my former self.

It's amazing how underproductive I have been whilst I have been in so much pain despite being on Co-Codamol. Thank you for reading and listening to my rant......... [i] [/i]

I take them in conjunction with Co-codamol - they used to help my RLS on their own, but as with most drugs, the effects eventually wear off sadly.....

Hello I live in France now and I used to live in the UK. Just been to see my lovely French Doctor who speaks English and she informed me that the pain killers I was prescribed in the UK are not good for my Only Kidney. I am on Naproxen 500mg x 2 daily. Co-dydramol Tablets 500mg 2 tablets 4 times a day

Now Im on 75mg amtriptyline, 60 mg co-codamol x4 a day and naproxen x2 a day. Physio thought it was nerve problems, Initially saw a chiropracter before physio which was agony so left. I have a slight bulge on disc which is pressing on the S1 nerve. I have awful lower back pain and leg problems.

I have stopped taking the co codamol...which was not fun as I had to do the whole detox thing.

Went to my doctor 3 weeks ago i was on pramipexole told him i had some days when they did,nt work bad nights bad days so he put in on Ropinirole i was worse than ever 2 hours sleep so i took co-codamol they did,nt work.

I have Ra Sero positive Anti CCp negative currently on mxthrate and prednisolone seeing Occ therapist for problems with my thumbs I have cervical spondylosis history of coccdydynia and trochantreic bursitis and not to forget a i had a lumber disc prolapse 2 and half years ago for which I take co-codamol

My very sympathetic GP has upped the pain relief to 20 mcg Bu Trans but I still need co-codamol top ups. He's chasing the hospital, and I went for more x rays to see if anything shows.

Hi my daughter is trying to come off 30mg co-codamol, she is taking two tablets three times a day, the dr has given her the 15mg tablets and taken the 30mg off repeat script, she is getting the shakes with the 15 mg tabs has anyone come off these and have you any tips, she has been taking them for two

Ive been on Co-Codamol for months and besides feeling pretty sick or spaced out from them, they do little to nothing for me. Ive also had spells where I feel like im walking on a wall, my head spins and knocks me off balance completely.

I am currently on Dyhydrocodien, Co-codamol, Naproxen, Pregablin and Duluxatin. I use mindfulness and attend regular physio and psychology. I have a tens machine and use heat and ice packs. Sleeping is a struggle and I'm just feeling at a loss now.

He is really struggling with getting his head around all that is happening and the pain is still immense (co-codamol not helping).  Even the simplest of tasks he gets into a state about.  Can I ask anyone else out there how do you cope with a partner who is in a constant state of upset and panic?  

So taking plenty of Co-Codamol & continue the new tablet in 7 days time. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

So it's 2 weeks on Monday since i started me Eviplera and Co-Trimoxazole. I felt really sick the first few days of taking them, and its taken a lot to remember to take them!! But i'm finally in a routine and starting to feel positive!!

I am currently taking 5mg bu-trans and 8 co-codamol 30/500 a day, not coping too well with it all atm even though I've had this for 5 years. Any information will be appreciated xx

I experience REALLY bad nights about once or twice a week when I take 2 co-codamol 30/500 which work brilliantly. In between I wearily soldier on because I fear I could become addicted if I take them more than this amount.

He also told me that it is fine to take neurofen for my pain as I am not on high doses of Pred. (9.5 currently), which means that maybe I can stop taking co-codamol (which makes me very sleepy). He said I would know soon enough if it aggravates my stomach.

Panadol, panadol extra, panadol extra soluble, paracetamol, codeine. In the past I have tried ibuprofen and aspirin but am not allowed that because of stomach ulcers I might have. (those pain killers don't help either anyway) HELP! please. I have had this unbearable pain for two weeks and a day 24/7

I am on the  usual concoction of meds Hydroxy, Prednisolone,Amitriptyline, Statin ,Salagen,Aspirin,Co Codamol , Ibubrufen to name a few. For many years i have also suffered with lower back pain that has been constant and at times horrendous to the point i struggle to walk ,sit ,or even just move.
