Utter despair!
I'm sorry this is a very long first post! For the last 4 years I have been ill β my initial symptoms were feeling very tired and cold (mainly my feet and hands), a little breathless and headaches. I had some blood tests including thyroid and all was fine. My symptoms progressed and I had foot/ankle

Is there such a thing as bleeding too much?
I started taking the comined pill
Cilest
3 weeks ago to try to control the bleeding and am just coming to the end of my first pack. I have had breakthrough bleeding all the way through taking it but since 3am this morning I have been in absolute agony and bleeding uncontrollably.

You cannot make up the week I have had!
Sorry I have not been around much... You all won't believe the week I have had! It started Tuesday when I went to hospital, my GP sent me to get checked out, they did lots of tests including a chest X-ray.... where I found out I had pneumonia, what with my PE's breathing was a bit tricky. So I was

Hi, just going on Monday to see a nurse about starting the Methotrexate meds. Was rather hoping to take the other Sulfasalazine med which seems less toxic. Haven't got huge RA difficulties, but MRI showed knuckles and finger (which did flare up) and toe. Can anyone tell me if they (the clinical nurses

Dry coughing since last 5 weeks - Please help :(
I am a 35 years old male and suffering from dry persistent coughing since past 5 weeks now and have been to the GP about 4 times during this period but there is no improvement in my condition. To provide you with the background, initially it all started with fever along with shivering, at this point

Chest x-ray
It's ages since I've posted on here but had a bit of a scare today. Feeling very tired and breathless so had appointment with GP. Sent me straight to hospital for chest X-ray and blood tests and was told to call for X-ray results in a week to ten days. I hadn't been home long when GP rang to say she'd

Still in poor shape with extra problems :o/
Hi all, here I am again (still). I am almost afraid to look back at my previous posts as I am certain I will be repeating myself. Although that would probably be because so little has changed - for the better that is. I have pretty much given up seeking medical help (although did have a chest x-ray

Bronchiectasis
Hi All Just found this site this morning. Very helpful. Hoping for some advice from those who have experience of this. I'm a non smoker but brought up in a smoking household. I was hospitalised at 9 months ago with what they thought was exacerbated asthma. I haven't has asthma for over 13 years and
