Recently diagnosed with Sarcoid, don't be fobbed off by Drs.
I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis of lungs and liver about 6 yrs ago. Have been really fit and healthy because I played tennis three times + a week, the only time I went to the Dr. was with a sporting injury. I was pro active and went to see if they could check to see whether the sarcoid was active or

My Pacemaker experience
In AF for the third time after two previous cardioversions and with a seven day ECG monitor also diagnosing tachy bradycardia with 3 second pauses in my heart rate I was told at the end of May that I needed a dual chamber pacemaker as a matter of some urgency. UPDATE, AND NOW HAVE A RASH
Just thought I would give an update. I rang my Doctor's surgery yesterday to see if the results were back following chest x-ray I had week last Thursday, due to cough and breathlessness following increase of Methotrexate. I was told the results are not back yet and will be at least another week. Just

Aytypical Pneumonia (aka Walking Pneumonia)
Just posting this as a cautionary tale really. I was taken into hospital last night with very rapid onset of chest pain, of the stabbing variety. I had been totally fine, aside a little wheezy after a cold two weeks ago. As I have APS, my GP was taking no chances and sent me in. I had a chest

My life for the past several months which helps explain my silence I hope; this is a copy of a reply message I sent to Eastender:) Crazy!!
Thanks for your concern and know I'm touched you keep reaching out to me. I decided to wait to respond to you after I got some med test results back, but now I'll try to be brief (right!) and up-date you. First, tho, know my daughters' are doing excellently! More details in another email. I, however

Good News, then the Bad news.
Had my chest x ray last Friday and was told the results would take 10 days. The ' Junior ' GP called me Today ( 4 days ) to inform me that the x-ray showed my lungs had no lesions, good news....but had shown that my heart is enlarged. Bad news. He is arranging for me to have an ultra sound scan at the

Any one having coughing difficulties?
Steve has lots of coughing episodes (not just when eating and drinking). There is white phlem and he takes ages getting it up. He has had this cough for the last 7 months and seems to be getting worse. he has had a chest x ray and this shows no problems and the community matron says as long as the phlem

CHEST INFECTION?
Hi everyone, have had a persistent cough for over a week now, not painful or anything, just annoying. I know this is mentioned in the possible side effects of Methotrexate so as I had a Physiotherapy appointment yesterday I mentioned it to her to see if I could go down and see the Rheumatology Nurses

Then I sat there and put all my question to her. She was surprised to say the least and told me most people with copd don't

I am a 18 year old Long Distan...
I am a 18 year old Long Distance runner. I have been running since 6th grade. I suffer from Anxiety. I keep thinking that one day Ill just suffer from a H.A or C.A during a run. I once went to the E.R for rapid heart beating. And and EKG and chest x ray came out fine. So did blood testing. Why do I worry

Possible stroke?
The other night I was called up to the nursing home where my mum is. She was unresponsive and didn't acknowledge I was there, which isn't her as she always has a smile for me. She was taken to hospital where they thought she had had a stroke. She is currently still in hospital having tests. She had
