Hi all. I am 69 and have had ET and then P V for 13 years. I have been on hydroxy 50 my per day for nearly 2 years. My blood counts are fine and I haven't needed phlebotomy for 18 months. My problem is that I get very breathless after walking a few yards. I have had a chest x ray which was clear an electrocardiogram

Hi everyone , I'm 42 and since December I have been having symptoms consistent with gallstones. I eventually went to the doctors in March and had my bloods checked they were all within normal range except a slight rise in alkaline phosphatase. I had my ultrasound yesterday morning and the GPS practice

advice on cilest pill please??
I've been on

pill 5 weeks taking it back to back to stop even more agonising pain coming back with bleeding well and general pain. Since taking it I've been feeling worse overall on an everyday basis again, ie- leg pain and bad back pain is back and so on.

Health Anxiety Symptoms-Thought it might be a nice exercise to write out all the diseases I've thought I've had. It's good to see the absurd
Hello everyone, Always been a worrier, but this year has definitely been the worst. My second kid was born this year, so maybe the fact that my responsibilities have increased and I have a growing family to support has kicked up my anxiety. But, I thought it would be nice for other health worriers to

Chest pain
Following up my recent aA and E visit with chest pain I was admitted for 15nights loads of tests and now it seems I had an abnormal chest x Ray done back in 2001! Bit late now as x Ray has shown up large mass in chest or lung this was missed and now I am suffering and I do not trust rheumatoid or doctors

Acupuncture?
I was diagnosed with PMR in 2013 after taking several trips to doctors and finally a Rheumatologist and put on a high dose of steroids. Like nearly everyone else on this site my sumptoms seemed to disappear overnight. Have had about 4 or 5 flare ups and trips back to doctor to increase steroids again

Is it heart related or anxiety??
Hello everyone. I'm a 24 year old female. I have normal blood pressure and don't have diabetes or any known heart related issues. For the past 3 weeks I've been experiencing off and on chest pain and the left side and tightness. The tightness feels like there is a rubber band around my chest on my rib

Hi, Haven't posted for a bit. But I've ended up back here. Just been referred to a rheumatologist by a neurologist. Suggestion of lupus again since symptoms are numerous and now experiencing weird rashes. My situation since last post a while ago.. Previously diagnosed peripheral nerve hyper excitability

Just finished a round of docs in the past week and have one more appointment next week. Worried About X-Ray results not being passed on!
So on 24/02/16 I saw a Rheumatologist who said I had Ehlers Danlos Syndrome type 3. She also said I showed signs of type 4 (lobe-less ears, spacing between eyes) - to help diagnosis she sent me for a chest X-ray - also on 24/02/16. She said she would send a letter to my GP to get them to refer me for
