Following up my recent aA and E visit with chest pain I was admitted for 15nights loads of tests and now it seems I had an abnormal chest x Ray done back in 2001!   Bit late now as x Ray has shown up large mass in chest or lung this was missed and now I am suffering and I do not trust rheumatoid or doctors anymore and am totally depressed

Not surprised you're feeling low.  This is awful!   I hope that the doctors are now doing everything they can to help manage this, and it turns out to be something completely benign.

Glad you told us all about it and didn't keep it to yourself. You have been let down by the very people who should have been looking after you and so it is not surprising you feel depressed. It is a normal reaction.

Keep talking to everyone here. There are lots of caring people on this site who may be able to give some input into your situation and help you along this bumpy road.

Thinking of you

That must a have been a heck of a shock & serves as a reminder to us all not to ignore any different pain, particularly if it's chest or heart related, seek help don't assume it will just go away. I hope that you'll have better care from now on & please do let us know what is intended treatment wise. Hopefully the team treating you now will restore your trust. x

Don't have a lot of trust now as been to docs this morning and she has not been notified I had been discharged and also found they had missed an abnormal X RAY IN 2001 AND ANOTHER ONE i had done in 2014 showing a bigger lump I now feel very scared and have had a PET scan at ST Tommys and am keeping fingers crossed as I dont feel unwell just breathless two x rays missed one at my local hospital for rheumatology and another one given to my doctors can't believe this !!

How awful to be let down on more  than one occasion.  It's no wonder you are depressed. I do  hope  that you get proper  treatment soon. All the best xx☺

This is shocking.   You might want to consider making a complaint to the hospital (through PALS).

Yes i feel let down as one x ray was missed at the hospital and the last one was missed by my doctor and now have bad chest pain when lying down and feel very confused by the lack of help in the medical profession.
