Clinical Trials explained
Most of us have heard conflicting comments about Clinical Trials, the good, the bad and the just plain ugly. But where can you find expert help and information before you sign on (often a 30 to 60 page document that few can understand - see https://www.fda.gov/patients/clinical-trials-what-patients-need-know

How many days past transfer till Clear blue 3+
I’m 5 weeks today (hopefully🙏🏼) my clear blue tests still saying 2-3 weeks. How many days after transfer does it take to say 3+? I’m testing like a crazy person to make sure my hcg is rising. What does your hcg need to be at to get 3+?

Richter’s Transformation - updated
Hi everyone. I would like to update all the data that we all provide and summarize it. Last week I had a meeting with a CLL teacher and we discussed Ricther's behavior. That is what my doctor thinks but I am not satisfied. It is only his hypothesis and without any study. He thinks that as long as

Sinusitis link to asthma
Hi, just wondering do many people on here suffer with periodic sinusitis also. I've been ill lately (got a negative PCR Covid result) with a lot of congested airways (initially nose, now feel mucus at back of throat), fatigue and very sore throat. Didn't visit my GP in the end as they wouldn't see me

Shingles
A few days ago I thought I had pulled another muscle in my side as I reached to close a high window. This morning I woke up to red rash on one side of my back and abdomen. Looks very like shingles. Rang Gp this morning and having a telephone consultation this afternoon. I’m down to to 21/2 mg of pred

Different IGHV mutation tests?
Are there different tests for IGHV mutation? PCR? Sanger? NGS? My PCR test report says no mutations detected. Should I retest with other methods? Also, is IGHV mutation status innate or developed during the lifetime? If it’s innate and genetic, since I’m unmutated, should I get my children tested for

5 weeks post FET, good HCG but mega headache
Hi, I’m 5 weeks 2 days with good beta tests however have developed the most cracking headache. I normally get this kind of headache before my period so terrified that something is very wrong. No bleeding and too early for scan which is scheduled in 12 days time.

Low beta hcg 100 d14p5dt and spotting - looking for similar stories where this is not ectopic!
I am 14 days post a fresh blastocyst transfer and my hcg is low but rising (36 day 11, 72 day 13, and today 102 😐). I have some very mild occasional cramps and spotting, with some stringy blood stained mucus discharge (hope not TMI!). I assumed when the bleeding started after the initial low beta it

Any Knowledge of CLL in the eyes?
A biopsy confirmed a diagnosis of CLL in both lower eyelids. This is a rare event. Neither my hematologist-oncologist or CLL Specialist have ever had a patient with it. They tell me that acalabrutinib, which I'll start next week, is sufficient treatment. From what I've read, I'm still uncomfortable

Side Effects of Bendamustine?
I am asking for a friend who has follicular lymphoma and has been W&W for nine years. They start Rituxan and Bendamustine next week. With all the treatment I have had, I have never had this one, so I am wondering if you could share what your experiences were. Thanks much.
