Sinusitis side effect with Atrovent and Spiriva
Hi, after a flare up of asthma I was given Atrovent in addition to my Fostair, prednisolone, antibiotics (I had a raised temperature) and anti histamine. After a few days I developed sinus symptoms (which I’ve had on and off for years). I feel awful whenever I get this, not intense pain, but a pressure

Beta HCG blood reading 8dp5dt ... ok?
Hi ladies Hope you are all doing well on your journey. I had my beta bloods taken yesterday 8dp5dt and they are 136. Does this sound ok? Anyone have readings similar? I am aware its the doubling rate that holds the most value so my next one is tomorrow. Thanks x

1:10 chance of Downs Syndrome
Edit: I just wanted to update with my nipt results, they have come back as low risk for Downs Syndrome. It's such a relief to finally have the results as the waiting was very stressful! Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond, reassure me and share experiences, I really appreciate it! Hi,

A bad cold or a flare?
I was diagnosed in May 2019 with PMR and GCA. I was started on 40mg of pred and am currently on 7mg after a bit of a struggle coming down from 8mg. I have had a really bad cold for nine days- a present from my granddaughter. On day 3 I couldn’t do a thing. Total fatigue. Then the following 3 days just

Can ivf meds delay a miscarriage - update
Hello! I’m so close to my scan day and can ask this to my consultant when I go, but wondered if anyone else had this happen to them. I’m pretty sure that my pregnancy has stopped progressing. I took another clear blue digi to see if I got 3+ and it actually went back to 1-2 (should now be 6+3) I have

CLL FISH tests results
I have been diagnosed and joined the CLL club recently. I have been doing my research here and also with Dr. Google etc. I just got my FLOW and FISH test results and it is very complicated. I am hoping someone here can give me the layman terms and what the results mean. I have a follow up appointment

Any advice on shingles?
As if life wasn't hard enough with having to cope with my C.O.P.D. I now find that I have got shingles. Yesterday I had to go to the doctor's as I wasn't feeling at all well, had a constant pain in my right torso and groin area which had a horrible burning rash. Upon examining me he said that I had a

Possible Richter’s Transformation?
My husband had tonsilitis In late December early January and seems to have recover from that. Then, unfortunately, he was in contact with someone positive for Covid and contracted It. He had a difficult time of it he wasn’t hospitalized but came close. During his quarantine, when he was almost finished

Thank you everyone for your repsonses, I am most grateful for your taking time to respond. It's almost a relief to know that I am not alone in finding water vapour in the bathroom, and the outdoors an issue. I am not sure whether that this is something that the medical profession are aware of, or even

Does green tea extract (EGCG can) reduce WBC in CLL?
I have read some positive things about green tea extract to treat CLL so our Hematologist said just W & W but we could not stop and search about the CLL and its alternative methods of treatment from food and tea etc. Finally, we found that EGCG is useful to reduce the WBC or postpone development symptoms
