HV88 Virus

Post liver transplant 3 years. Recently diagnosed with HV88 virus which I carried pre transplant but didn't know. Thankfully copies are low and now on 1mg of Sirolimus to keep copies low Taking 0.5 Advagraf now as LFT's are still excellent and all well within range and the reduction has helped renal numbers dramatically. Anyone living with the HV88 virus?

I think is a one of hepervirus so most of us have it and it is not a problem. However when someone takes immunosuppressants it should be monitored.

Can be positive with Hv88 despite test results. I am hopeful that if anything goes wrong with my transplant it is just as minor. You can live with the HV88 virus at least other conditions can lead to a meeting with God.
