Hcg Levels advice

Hi ladies,

I got my BFP on friday! I started bleeding on MOnday only lasted a few hours but went to get myself checked out. So they did my bloods on Mon by hcg level was 7456 and today it was 14000. Is this good the nurses didnt explain.

Also they did a scan and only seen the sac no yolk il have to wait another 2weeks. They said it could be a early pregnancy or a miscarriage😕

This is my first pregnancy via ivf and im really confused. Please advise xx

Thank youuuu!! Nurses say 5weeks i will find in couple of weeks when my clinic calls me in for a scan just worried sick about my hcg and empty sac😕

Then it is definitely too early to see anything on the scan, don’t worry! Around 7 weeks you should see the fetus measuring normal for the age and a strong heartbeat! I hope all goes well for you xxx

Congrats on your BFP! In my opinion your HCG levels look great. My first scan was 5w4d, and I only had an empty yolk sac. A week later I was able to see the embryo and heartbeat. A lot can change in 8 days. I know it’s nerve wracking, but try to stay hopeful. Best wishes!!! Xx

Hcg levels should roughly double in 48-72 hours, so that's looking really good 😉I don't think the embryo is big enough to be seen until around 6 weeks, so you've got a bit of a wait ahead of you until you can see it.

It's terrifying to see blood when you're pregnant, but its actually pretty common to have a bleed in early pregnancy and it doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage. If your Hcg is still going up and the bleeding stopped I would take that as good news. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is happy and healthy with no more scares xxx

Thank you for replying and the re assurance i wont be having any blood tests now just the waiting game till the scan. Hope you are well too. This is my first pregnancy experience so lacking knowledge 🙈 and just googling xxx
