Spring, and unusual weather
Think here in Midlands have early spring, my prunus cherry tree is in full bloom, pigeons eating flowers, hardy fuchsias in leaf, whilst snowdrops crocus etc still flowering beautifully. Lucky not to have had flooding where I live. Blue tits have been going into their box since before Christmas, can

In the continuing saga of trying to get a priority PCR test and letter does anybody know the exact SNOMED code For CLL that has to be on your medical records in the UK for you to get a priority PCR test and letter from NHS England? I am going round and round in circles being pushed from 119 back to

Does the cold put you off?
Hi is anyone put off because they are so cold? Should I be trying to do warm up exercises in the house before I go out. I am wondering how many layers is feasible. I know - just get on with it and forget the cold.

8dp5dt + symptoms gone - Can I test whilst on hCG shots? #update
Hi all, I'm on my 8dp5dt (first transfer with 2 FETs), after a history of two miscarriages. The lab messed up big time and didn't have the PGT results ready on the day that the transfer was scheduled for, so the doctor went ahead and transferred 2 FE (5 day blastocysts) anyway. We later found out that

Extremely high free beta HCG at week 12 screening
Hi i am38, pregnant via IVF for 1st child. 12weeks screening put me 1:40 chance for Down’s syndrome, due to very high hcg 5.83 mom. The rest are within normal range. Subsequent NIPT showed low chance for all three syndromes. Any thoughts if I still should do aminocentesis ? Any similar experience with

Migraine and Shingles
Around two months ago, amongst some other issues, I had a period of frequent visual migraines. Not wholly unusual for me - have had quite a few over the past five years. But not often so many in such a short time. Now suffering shingles. And I read that migraines can be a prodromal symptom of shingles

2 chemical pregnancies in 3 month, low progesterone levels?
Hi ladies, after what I can describe as hell on earth last year I am finally feeling strong enough to ask for some advice/experience from you 💕 I've had 3 transfers (luckily only one ivf, as we had 12 embryos). My first transfer didn't stick. But last October and December I have had 2 transferred each

Is inositol, hexaphosphate form, bad for CLL?
Hi, all. IP6 (a form of inositol called inositol hexaphosphate readily available as a supplement) has been shown to be very anti-cancer, including at least one blood cancer, AML I think. However, as I read about how it works, it seems to indicate that it increases or activates Bruton Tyrosine Kinase

Venetoclax and calquence combo for Cll
Anyone have experience with V and Calquence together? My husband has been on calquence 4 months but Haemotolgist states his bone marrow still 80 to 90% full of cancerous lymphocytes. Doc wants V and R but husband has had no issues with Calquence and would prefer to stay on it along with Venetoclax. Lymphocytes

Long Covid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME
I’d like to share a very interesting article about research being done on the similarities between long Covid and ME/CFS. This is an article published by Radio New Zealand. I found it fascinating, and relevant to people with wonky immune systems. Work in progress. https://www.rnz.co.nz/news/what-you-need-to-know
