Me again ! So after my last couple of posts last week about bleeding and it stopping (5w 3d), I actually passed a golf ball size clot on Monday evening , that looked very much like a sac and embryo (sorry tmi 😭)
After calling my clinic and sending photos they told me it is probably a miscarriage so to let it all pass naturally and if i had any heavy bleeding or pain to go to epu . They said test again after a week and call them back they also told me to stop my medication .
It’s now been a week and Iv had no other bleeding since losing that massive clot last Monday .. I was fully expecting to have a full period like bleed or to have to wear a pad. Also Iv had the most horrendous nausea and sickness this week .
So today Iv done another test and it’s came back 3+ weeks on clear blue …? (6w 3d)
I literally only got my first 3+ the day before I started bleeding last week so meant I’d only just hit the threshold of 2700 hcg so surely a week later it should have dropped below that threshold ?
Is there any possibility there could still be an on going pregnancy ?
Iv left a message for my clinic to call me back and see if they will scan me , but I feel like they are not the best 😩
Anyone had something like this happen and still end up being positive ?

So sorry you’re having a rough time. Have you called the EPU? A bleed, even with a clot doesn’t necessarily mean you’ve had a miscarriage so I think your clinic are terrible for telling you it is without either a blood test or a scan!
Call the EPU, they will hopefully get you in for a scan asap xxx
Oh Hollie.. so so sorry that this happened. I agree with Kibo.. get yourself to an EPU and get scanned. The one near me accepts walk ins every day. As your clinic has told you to stop all meds I would try and get scanned as soon as possible in case you need to restart the meds. Better to be safe. I find your clinic’s instructions to quit meds without scans really odd..Sending you a big hug xx
So sorry you’re having to deal with this, you must be so confused. I’d definitely go to EPU and ask for a scan, at least you’ll then have more of an idea of what’s going on. Sending lots of love and I hope you get some good news ❤️
I am soo sorry, this sounds really stressful... I am sorry your clinic is not helpful at all... I completely agree with the others to go to EPU and get a scan or the other thing i would do if its a long wait to book a private scan if you can but have it done as soon as possible so you know what to do... I am sending you lots of love...
Thank you soooo much for all your reply’s … I managed to get through to my clinic who got me in for scan today … and I am in utter shock …. I heard a heartbeat 😭😭😭😭😭😭 my first time ever hearing one after 9 previous losses .. I have genuinely spent this week grieving the loss of our baby after believing the clot that I passed last week was the baby . It was bigger then a golf ball !! I still can’t believe it now . Everything measured ok and strong heartbeat 😭😭😭😭😭😭 (these are all happy tears ) they could give me much advice about what it could have been that I passed last week but I’m just so overwhelmed that the baby was still there … ✨✨✨✨ Praying it can stick around abit longer ! But today we celebrate this small win ! 😬❤️
Hi lovely . I am currently 36 weeks pregnant 🥰🥰and so far no other dramas since that initial bleed and clots at 6weeks , so feeling incredible lucky xxx
