Primary Peritoneal Cancer
I was diagnosed with PPC stage III C in April of 2023. After consulting with onocologist and gynecologist/oncologist it was decided to do 3 rounds of chemotherapy then debulking surgery followed by 3 more rounds of chemo. After first 3 rounds I had a very positive response with major shrinkage of tumor

Collected Responses to Give more funding for thyroid research and patients after price hike Petition
The petition launched by Pete Taylor has received a response, and there have now been numerous posts referencing that. And replies on each of them. This it is getting spread and some will be missed, there will be much repetition, etc. For that reason, this new post is intended to collect everything

Trying again after surgery
Hi, I've just had a laparoscopy to remove a cyst on my ovary and dense grade 3 endometriosis which was on my womb, ovaries, bladder, bowel and ligaments. But the doctors didn't tell me how long I need to wait before trying for a baby again. Has anyone had any experience of this surgery and how long

I've had period pain since I was 15 and each year the pain only gets worse. When I became 18, the pain became crippling. The pain will start mildly a week or two before I start my period. Then when I start my period the pain intensifies. I find it hard to walk, I feel like I have a fever then have an

Anyone use Fobumix?
I had my annual asthma check at the surgery yesterday but it felt like a tick box exercise which i didnt benefit from, and none of my questions were addressed. I wanted to know about the Fostair MART regime which i think i could benefit from, already being on Fostair 200 i was hoping for some flexibility

Endometriomas returning
Hi ladies,Im wondering those of you who have had endometriomas return, how long was it post lap before they come back? I had surgery in March 23, where I had extensive adhesiolysis and drainage of 2 9cm bilatreal cysts. I noticed a few months after I had similar recurrent pain as pre op, and brushed

It's been a long time...
I posted on here briefly a while back, but at the time I was pretty stable and I fell out of touch on here. Now, I am progressing pretty rapidly. I had a nasty gall bladder infection last April, resulting in surgery and five days in the hospital. I also got pneumonia. It all just sent my MS into hyperactivity

A very sensitive post
Tonight, I reflect on my fertility journey. I got married in my early 30's and came to England, but marriage did not work. I started working at a fast food restaurant, earning enough to cover my rent, food, and some little savings. Of all I desire in life, family is number one. I moved on with my life

Sciatica after RP?
My husband has developed painful sciatica 4 months after his RP. Xray shows bulging disk. He can have an MRI 6 weeks after PT. Is it possible that there is a relation to his prostate surgery?

Saline nasal rinse and glaucoma
I suffer with allergies and used to use steroid nasal spray. Now I have glaucoma I now know that these sprays are bad news! I've been looking into saline nasal rinse kits as an alternative to help me with the chronic catarrh in my throat but can't see any information about if these are safe to use for

ocular migraines after surgery
Hi all. I had aortic valve replacement along with resectioning 5 months ago. Things have gone well. The first month I had a lot of ocular migraines which I attributed to the opiods. However, I'm no longer on the meds I'm still getting regular migraines. I'd say weekly, sometimes a couple a week.

Contrast dye allergy vs keyhole surgery.
Has anyone here managed to have successful keyhole heart surgery, despite being unable to have contrast dye for CT scan? Were their surgical team able to obtain clear imagery despite this issue? If so, are you willing to share how they did please?
