Day 1 of Champix
Very relieved to say up to 10 hours after taking 1st Tablet NO side effects yet! Am not clear whether you should continue to smoke for a week or so or quit sooner if you feel ready? I already had reduced to 4 - 6 a day but just need that last push - any advice much appreciated.

5 months and still off the fags!
I started
Champix
on 20th January this year, had my last ciggie on day 1, completed the full 3 month course of
champix
along with support sessions with Zara, my smoking cessation nurse once a fortnight and here I am 5 months on still smoke free, slightly heavier but much more healthy.

Day 21 on
champix
and day 14 of not smoking. My stomach has settled down. Eating more fruit and having a green salad with dinner has helped.

Champix fears
I tried
Champix
a number of years ago and had serious mood swings that were bad enough to make me stop. Tried again 6 months ago and got a horribly achy stomach...not just the nausea but achy as well.

I messed up Big time!!!
Hey guys it's been awhile since I've been on here I just like to say I did quit smoking for a year and 3 months after taking
champix
I couldn't have been so proud of myself until my dog died a month ago.

8 days smoke free
My doctor told me
Champix
was my best option. I stayed smoking for a month on the
Champix
but finally made the leap on April 2nd . Once I made the decision it hasn't been as bad as i thought. the
Champix
are truly a godsend. They take the edge off the cravings big time.

Day 8 Champix
I have a question for the
champix
people. On what day did you quit? I ask because I still don’t have any effects of not wanting to smoke or loosing desire to. I know you have to want to give up too which I do but I thought the tablets might have an effect by now?! Maybe I need a few more days.

Day 8 champix
So day 8 today and onto the 1mg tablets. I have decided to just take one a day as I’m really quite slim and tiny. I have to say that in terms of side effects today I feel super spaced out. It’s a bit weird but I have read that other people have felt like that and it has passed after a couple of weeks
