Hi Pmum, I felt totally fine until 10 days and then felt really not very good. Depressed, anxious and just really sad and odd. I had to stop them on day 12 but am now 2 days smoke free using vaping... its not everyones thing but its working for me so far.

Have you had some side effects?

Hi Stacey48, I am only up to day 3, I’ve read that people have unwanted side effects and was wondering if they felt them after taking 1st tablet or a week or more in to it. God I hope they work for me.. I haven’t stopped smoking yet!

Well done on 2 days smoke free!! I feel scared about quitting, I don’t know why? I know nothing about vaping?

Hi Stacey48 and Pmum, I quit cold turkey however, I was depressed, anxious, tired and depressed for quite a while as well so it may have been a combination of the tablets and just giving up. Our bodies go through a big change and physical craving as well as mental craving. Your scared feeling about quitting is you doubting that you can quit. You can. Drug addiction effects our mind and that is where the real issue is. Taking control of our thoughts is really tough but many people have travelled this shit road before us and many will travel behind us. If we don't make it this time we will make it next time. Just try and embrace what ever thoughts and feelings that are thrown at you and slowly day by day hopefully we all become smoke free. Best wishes and try to keep strong.

Hello, I used Chantix and only did the morning dose because I was afraid of side effects. I had some vivid dreams, started feeling fuzzy about four weeks in. I stopped after week 5. I am 152 days smoke free. Still struggle some days! Much luck to you!!!
