Why is this so hard?
I am on chantix for the 10th time. I really thought it was gonna stick this time, and while I have not given up hope, I am frustrated. I quit, on my quit day, Aug. 24th. I started again Aug. 26th after hearing from my doctor that I have MS. Of all the reasons to quit, that should’ve been a great reason

Varenicline (
Champix
) Varenicline (brand name
Champix
) is a medicine that works in 2 ways. It reduces cravings for nicotine like NRT, but it also blocks the rewarding and reinforcing effects of smoking. Evidence suggests it's the most effective medicine for helping people stop smoking.

Does chantix give you prostate cancer?
I’m taking a poll of sorts in lui of the recent connection between chantix and prostate cancer. I was diagnosed stage 4 at age 48 with no known genetic disposition. I was on and off chantix for many years trying to kick the habit. Curious if anyone else here has a similar story.

Any ideas on sleep issues
Hi all, hope everyone is doing as well as they can be. Been a while since I posted. My WBC is now up to 25.67, Lymph% 77.3 and Lymph # 19.84. Still on W&W. Wondering if anyone else is having a similar sleep issues. Even with taking Melatonin 20mg before bed, I fall asleep feeling fine. I wake up

This is how far I've come.
I tried before to stop, had patches, ecig,
champix
off Dr, nothing worked. Everytime I went to Dr's with chest infection he would tell me I need to stop smoking and give me the helpline card, and that's it.

2 years since I quit!🤩
Had to rely on
Champix
to support me but it was worth it. So to those just starting out please stick with it - there is light at the end of the tunnel.!

I have just been informed there is no
Champix
throughout the country. Does anyone know when/if this will change?

Job done!
It was tough, but with
champix
and this forum I did it. After that, had one relapse and I thought I was doomed again but bravely enough, I reset my count and stopped again. I did not count the days anymore, I think I'm around 3 years smoke free... I don't even know anymore to be honest.

Frightful fags
My granddaughter brought mme the gift of Covid19 on 7 May, and
Champix
just made me feel worse. However, now I've started massive nicotine cravi gs again. I have three weeks of
Champix
leftover. Should I finish them? Going just a bit nuts here.

To help me quit I used Tabex instead of
champix
and was really surprised that they worked so I didn't have side effects. Anyone trying to quit please stick with it. It will be the best thing you can do for your Copd.
