Congratulations! Surely Champix is a 12 week course and after that your GP might suggest just a 0,5mg. tablet for a further period. Anyway, well done you.

That's what i did and i have just passed the 2-year mark of being nicotine free. I have heard stories about not completing the full 12 week prescription, and failing at the end of the day... It works and it's a magic pill - but you need to follow the rules.

Good luck on your decision re Champix. Only you know how strong you feel. If you don’t have any nasty side effects from Champix, it won’t hurt you to stay on them for the full 2 or 3 months.
