Nearly a year since I had my last cigarette
So to all those starting out on their smoke free journey, you can do it, I was lucky with the aid of
champix
I went off fags quite quickly and have never suffered a craving, I've been off the
champix
for 9 months and apart from the weight gain I feel great.

Keep Going
I'll also be glad to finish the
champix
program and get that stuff out of my system. One thing I do know is I don't want to go through this 3 months again and that is now part of my mindset of not going back to smoking. For everyone else out there in the early stages, just keep going.

I’m new here and I have to quit smoking for my health
I clearly need more help this time and it has to be for life (NOPE), I have a stop smoking appointment on 8th January and I’m thinking of trying
Champix
probably along with my e-cigarette. I want to stop, I want to see my great grandchildren born....but....I’m so so scared. Is this normal?

Champix-second week. How do you feel?
Hello, I'm on day 11 with
Champix

Champix
? Thank you 🙂

Day 26
My
Champix
ran out a week ago, and I haven’t bothered going back for the second lot of 4 weeks. I’ve been told by my brother that I should, because it helps to stay quit. But right now, I’m just not sure that I need it. I still have cravings, every day.

Day 15 on Champix a ready to quit.
Day 15 on
Champix
, finally ready to quit. The last 5 days were only 1 or 2 anyway, so I decided this morning that I didn’t need it. It took me a while to accept that I’m not going to be smoking anymore. Somehow, that was very hard and emotional. So I took it slowly.

Five months today for me!
Today marks five months since I quit smoking, with the help of
champix
. I have had a couple of out of the blue cravings in the last week. But happy to say they are easier to deal with now. My sweet tooth is still missing. So I have not gained back the ten pounds that I lost when I started my quit.

4 Months today!
Very pleased to say it’s 4 months today since I quit smoking with the help of
Champix
. So, anyone just starting their journey - hang in there - you can do it!! I was 70 in June when I quit, having smoked for 50 years.

Day 3 on Champix
So I went to the doctors and got the prescription for
Champix
and I started at 1pm on that day. I smoked 22 on Monday, and down to 10 yesterday, and today, I've only had 2 and it's already 5pm. So hopefully this is working. I really want to quit.

Migranes on chantix
Has anyone migranes that have lasted more than 2 days on chantix? I get up and walk and go to sit back down and my head throbs in pain. I cant see hardly, I cant move my head to much or it throbs so bad that my neck tenses up. I have tired tyneol nothing helps.

Back again
Anyway, I'm on day 1 of
champix
and going to try again. Apart from the obvious health benefits, it costs $47 a packet of 30 in Australia now. I ready again for the instant financial gain and slow health improvement s of being a non smoker. A week or so of smoking then 00000 again

Stopping for good
I was on
Champix
last year and managed to virtually stop. However I have been smoking again and wondered if my non smoking nurse will help me again or will she say I cannot be helped & turn me away. I just need advice and being a terrible worrier don’t know what to do. Any advice would be welcome

How long before you get a good nights sleep?
I thought it was the
champix
that caused the sleep disruptions but I slept better on the
champix
than I have in the four and a half weeks since I finished it. I know this is probably to do with the chemical changes to my body. Most of you probably went through this.

Day 100 of not smoking
It has been a rough three weeks since I finished my
champix
. But I made it to day 100. It really is a day to day journey. The mind games are unreal. I don't know about anyone else but its like you are grieving for the loss of your best friend.
