Hello All. Happy New year. I haven't been on here much in the past weeks due to the festive season and holidays but know you are here.

I think I've made it to 3 months. Absolutely stoked and proud. It's not easy and the side affects have been tougher than I thought and have changed from hourly/daily cravings and grumpiness to a mental battle. Going through stages of anxiousness, lack of sleep and mild depression I think. Also putting on weight. But I'm NOT smoking and my wallet is heavier and I can feel the other benefits of not smoking. No weezing at night, easier breathing and overall more energy.

It's now the new year and part of my quit plan was to get to here smoke free and accept other affects on the way ie extra weight. Now it's time to focus on the other things and get back on track with my mind and my weight. I'll also be glad to finish the champix program and get that stuff out of my system.

One thing I do know is I don't want to go through this 3 months again and that is now part of my mindset of not going back to smoking.

For everyone else out there in the early stages, just keep going. It is and you are worth it.

Matt

Hi Angler1 A Very Happy New Year to you too.

Well done for your 11 weeks quit, sooo nearly 3 months! We have your quit date as 19/10/ 2019, if this is incorrect please let us know. You will reach 3 months 11/01/2020.

I'm sure you will be able to lose the extra weight when you've finished the Champix program. One step at a time.

Thanks for dropping by,🚭👍
