Peppermint Oil Capsules
Bit of a random post, but we all know our RA meds can some time play havoc with our tummies. I have been taking Peppermint oil gel capsules and they seem to be doing me the world of good! No iffy tummy! Thought I would share! I knew they are also good for digestion and if you suffer with IBS.

Deer in headlights needing some guidance
Hi everyone, I hope someone can please shed some light. I have had painful swollen joints to both middle, ring and index fingers and a burning sensation in my wrists. My doctor checked my rheumatoid factor, ESR and CRP all of which were normal and now he is fobbing me off saying this is all in my head

High Rheumatoid Factor
Hi everyone I've just joined. I had blood tests done beginning of last month due to having sore joints and generally not feeling well. My rheumatoid factor came back as 650iu/ml which my GP and said was one of highest she'd ever seen. I take diclofenac 50 three times a day and Zapain. I have an appointment

New to community - Q about essential oils
Has anyone had any success with using essential oils? I have mild RLS but it affects my sleep most nights and I disturb my partner. I’m looking for natural remedies. Compression stockings worked for a long time but I find they’re not helping lately. I take sertraline (Zoloft) for anxiety and depression

Fish and pregnancy and ADHD
In the 1960s the discovery of mercury in fish led to a condemnation of eating fish during pregnancy. Extreme precautions were issued as there was little research on it. 50 years later there is a lot of evidence that the benefits of eating fish far Far FAR outweigh any risk from mercury. The benefits

Anyone out there with Psoriatic Arthritis and Lupus? How was your PsA diagnosed? How is it diagnosed as different from OA?
I had a hip operation in April 2013. I had growths on my hip socket. The way it was explained to me was that my ball socket on my left hip was shaped like a rugby ball when it should look like a football. I was running at the time, half marathons. The last one I did was painful and I had to stop running

Went on Prednisone today
Hi, everyone! I went on 60 mg of prednisone today and heard taking Vit K was good for me. How much would be safe to take? I've already been taking Vit D 4, 1800mg of calcium w/ magnesium & zinc. I've also been taking Folic Acid and Omega 3 Fish Oil. It's only been 4 hours since I started, but tomorrow

High MCV Doesn't Respond to Anything?
Hi Everyone, I am brand new to the forum. For 20 years (maybe a whole lifetime) I've had a high MCV of around 103. I have a multitude of symptoms which I call Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Most conventional docs have said this was close to range and not a problem, but given my symptoms seems like it might

Tingling extremities
Copied and pasted so apologies for any strange formatting! This is my first post on the PA page. Hello - I posted a few weeks ago on Thyroid UK as I was getting tingling in my feet at night and, after hot baths particularly, my fingertips. That's now progressed to my feet tingling all the time and

General medicine has huge gaps
Sad that not one of these docs look for natural remedies for you. Get a good natural path and soon you’ll throw these guys out. There are lots of herbs and essential oil‘s that will help you. They areTaking you down the road it is hard to get back out.
