Hypoxic brain injury 6 months after cardiac arrest
It's now 6 months since my mum had a
cardiac
arrest
and suffered 3 parts hypoxic brain injury. My mum is still unconscious and we don't know if she is still in a vegative state or minimally conscious due to the medication she is on currently.

Just wanting to ask a question. Had my blood work done and have been feeling quite well so felt my CRP would be good. I know by how I feel what my blood markers will be. My CRP was excellent but my ESR had doubled. I have been on K2 now for 6 weeks and this is he first blood work after taking that. I

Desperately trying to understand my mums death
I am desperately looking for advice, my mum died in July 2018, I will try to be concise, she was admitted into hospital in March 2018, with sudden onset respiratory distress, she suffered a
cardiac
arrest
and was admitted to general critical care, initially they struggled to intubate her, we then discovered

Incline question - surprised myself!
Considered myself very unfit after having to bed rest through my last pregnancy. Decided to finally do something 3 years on and I’ve somehow made it to the start of week 8! However done this all on a treadmill and only just seen the advice on putting an incline of 1-2% on to replicate outdoors (never

Living life to the full
Hi Somewhere, I had a
cardiac
arrest
in 2011, spent 4 weeks in a coma in ICU, finally decided to wake up and breathe for myself .... and haven't looked back since! All true, except for the last bit. The question 'why me?' is still something I ask myself.

Not sure if I had a heart attack
I had my 3rd ablation in March 2018 and all has been well for about 1.5 years. In October flutter/afib came back with a vengeance. Extreme anxiety, atrial beat up to 300 maybe 50% of the time, fatigue. Then mid-October, in the middle of the night feeling generally awful and unable to sleep, Had no pain

What type of Arrhythmia did I just have? Any advice is appreciated.
I felt faint as I was I guess in panic, thought I was having a
cardiac
arrest
but then breathed myself out of it and was lucid again. I didn't faint but was light headed for a few seconds.

9dp 3day transfer frozen egg donor
Hi all, I feel like this first FET transfer already failed. Today is 9 days past 3day transfer using egg donor and I don’t feel anything except 1/10 pain cramps on and off. No other symptoms. I know this might be early to test but just a gut feeling that it doesn’t sticks. For the past 1 week, I’ve been

Reassurance post-ablation sought!
Hi, new to the forum & posting, am seeking reassurance from all you experienced people! I had a cardiac ablation for paroxysmal AF 3 days ago - the procedure lasted over 4 hours, & I am wiped out. I’m sleeping loads, a bit sob as it’s a bit sore to take a deep breath, and my stomach hurts when I eat

Sinus arrest vs Cardiac arrest
Can someone please tell me what the difference is between a sinus
arrest
and a
cardiac
arrest
. I recently had a pacemaker fitted after a pause of 58 seconds that was picked up on my ILP.
