He said that there had been 3 infections that they got rid of with the antibiotics but the fourth spot on my right lung is small cell
carcinoma
. He told me it's treatable and I have an appointment next week on Tuesday at a cancer center.

Sudden MTX intolerance
I recently was treated for a basal cell
carcinoma
, so had to stop taking MTX for a short while (I got an infection). Since I’ve been back on it, I am struggling so much to take it. I find the tiny tablets get stuck in my throat, and I feel so nauseous soon after taking it.

Low Grade Serous carcinoma
Hello I have just joined and I am newly diagnosed with Low Grade Serous. I wanted to hear stories of people that have not had any reoccurence for long periods of time. I am looking for some positive feed back as I only know people have early recurrence. Thank you

Pathology c/w: Lung parenchyma with focally minimal fibrosis, no explanation for a nodule is seen, no granulomata or
carcinoma
seen. Six additional levels of blocks A1 and A2 of the lung biopsy have been examined and again unremarkable fibrovascular tissue and lung parenchyma is seen.

Coming off Azathioprine
I recently developed basal cell
carcinoma
and have been advised to stop taking it. My Gastroenterologist has agreed that I should do so. Two questions for those who might have experience of coming off it: Firstly, is it a matter of just stopping taking it or will I be advised to taper off?

Second opinion on biopsy
Prostate tissue with small focus of atypical glands, highly suspicious for low-grade
carcinoma
. See note. NOTE: Although these findings are highly atypical and suspicious for adenocarcinoma, there is insufficient cytologic and/or architectural atypia to establish a definitive diagnosis.

How skin cancer develops
However, if left undetected melanoma and in rarer cases, squamous cell
carcinoma
can become fatal. CHECK YOUR SKIN ONCE A MONTH FOR THE EARLY WARNING SIGNS AND SEEK IMMEDIATE ADVICE FROM A QUALIFIED HEALTHCARE PRACTITIONER WITH ANY CONCERNS.

squamous cell lung cancer
I don’t hear much about squamous cell
carcinoma
on this site or anywhere else. It seems like most people end up with adenocarcinoma.
